I'm very excited to share my outfit post this week because it is about a piece I absolutely ADORE: a white broderie dress for summer!! White cotton or linen dresses are the perfect choice for your summer event, outdoor party, BBQ party, beach party, a simple picnic with your significant other, any family reunion, you name it! (Except a wedding, please, don't wear a white dress as a guest to a wedding, that's usually the colour reserved to the bride).
I know for moms in general white is not the most practical option, but I've wanted a white summer dress for so long, I just had to give in! Finding the right one wasn't an easy task. I ordered 7 different dresses (was that 8?)  from different shops until I found the one I wanted to keep. If you follow my Instagram Stories, you've seen and probably even voted for the dress I've finally kept, now I'm in love with it!! Were you wondering "how are you going to wear a white dress??", well, white goes practically with everything, you don't really need a tan to pull it off you just need the right white for you. I hesitated to adopt this trend because pleated skirts are not the most flattering on my body shape. Until I saw this printed skirt in shades of blue and fell for it, especially for its flowy fabric. Finally, I came around to put together another outfit post for you. It's been a challenge for sure! We actually don't have time to set aside for doing proper "photo shootings"(we, meaning hubby "photographer" and me). But, somehow my fresh optimism thought we could just slip a couple of snaps into our normal life. You know, it is actually much harder than I would have imagined!

We will give it a try in a few days and see if we can manage to bring all our stuff with us. Yes, last time, we went out to take pics, only to find the camera memory card was missing and the battery was dying, LOL. Yeah, we need some fine tuning in the "planning section", haha.

Today I have a weekend casual comfy outfit, perfect for the strange transition weather we are having now. The winter is about to end, it's sunny, but still chilly at times for spring outfits. I hope you'll like it :)

I've been wanting to include some outfits post in my blog for a while, and I finally had the occasion to do so. Last weekend, my hubby and I were invited to the opening of the first boutique of Wildhorn Fine Cosmetics in Crans Montana. My hubby agreed to play the "photographer" role in my fashion shooting! It was fun, I think he did really well! What do you think of his pictures?

We are having such glorious weather these days. The sky has been bright blue and the days warmer since last Monday. But the truth is, winter is not completely over, we are only half way through February and while it can get over 10°C in the afternoons, the mornings can be quite chilly near 0°C. That is why I love styling my outfits with Oversized scarves like the one I'm wearing here! There are a few advantages about getting one of these, want to see?

I've been feeling a little under the weather these past days, I caught a flu (the first of the season) but I didn't want to miss this appointment for the "Nail Crazies Unite" nail art Challenge because this week's theme is Fall Fashion Inspired nails. As we've seen in the catwalks, the upcoming season is very rich combining different trends but I'd say the most prominent ones are the heavy layering of different pieces and the strong reminiscence of the 1980's fashion.
I'm a child of the 1980' and I hated the fashion of those days with a passion, hahaha. I wasn't very happy in the 90's either so following these reminiscent trends is not really my cup of tea. However, for the nail art challenge purpose, I thought it could be fun to create a manicure combining the excess of colours and patterns that marked that decade. I hope you like it!
