Hello my sweeties!
I do not know if you have noticed I have been in a Stamping mood lately, I have tried different styles even stamped decals! and I have bought a ton of new stamping plates (which I promise I will be howing to you soon!). That is why I am paying so much attention to polishes that can stamp. You never really know which one will work, and for that reason the safest is to go with nail polishes specially conceived to stamp, as the black stamping polish I am showing you today from, Born pretty store.
The Born Pretty Black Stamping polish contains 6ml, so it is a mini bottle. As most of mini sizes the brush is quite small, but this is not really important since the polish is not meant to be used to polish your nails! but to be applied on the stamping plates.
The polish is very opaque but not so dense that it would dry immediatelly. I have had different results with it stamping with different plates and different stampers. I tried it on MoYou London plates with a squishy silicon stamper... and I couldn't pick the image! The only way I could pick the images from the MoYou London plate was with a firmer konad stamper. So I would suggest using firmer stampers with this polish. however, I also tried it on a BPS plate and it picked the image perfectly no matter which stamper I used. Weird!!
Here below I show you my stamping with MoYou plate from Bridal collection #7 over D&G Baroque silver.
I also tried to do stamping decals, using Moyou plate from Pro collection #21, and different nail polish colours. My base colour is Essence Candy crush. Everything looked just fine until I applied my decals and the topcoat smeared the black polish!! Oh, well my topcoat has been misbehaving and its time for a new one, but I recommend to test your topcoat on this one beforehand.
All in all the polish works nicely for stamping but I wish I had been more careful with my topcoat! The Born Pretty Black Stamping polish retails for 4.99 USD at Born pretty store. Remember you can have 10% off of your purchase by entering my code at checkout: DBL91

Do you like stamping? Do you struggle finding a good stamping polish? Please, do not hesitate to leave your feedback in the comments, it's always much appreciated!
Love,
Nati
Nice job! When it comes to black stamping nail polish, I use Konad. It's very well opaque but it's hard to clean when you have to remove it from your skin.
ReplyDeleteThank you Aneta! I also have the konad one, but i prefer the Essence stampy polish :)
DeleteYou created pretty manis with it :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Maria :-)
DeleteCute!

DeleteCute design, I like it a lot! Great for this time of year :-)
ReplyDeletethank you Melissa! I am so glad you like it :-)
Deletese ve muy 70
ReplyDeletetb eso pensé!
DeleteVery accurate review for this polish and I love both of the manicures you made with it!
ReplyDeleteI have this stamping polish too and it works quite good.
Thank you Andrea!
DeleteI kept reading about Born Pretty store and you're seriously tempting me to pick up a few things from it. I browsed through the site the other day and they have so many lovely things!

I love Born Pretty Store there is so much variety! I oredered frequently from them. Last thing I got was a case for my Iphone 6, the price is so good if you compare with local Swiss prices! The delivery is a bit slow, but it totally worth the wait :-)
DeleteCute manicures :)
ReplyDeleteI also had some problems finding the nail polishes that can stamp... For now I have used only regular nail polishes (not those specific for stamping).
Thank oyu! I also use a lot regular polishes, but sometimes it is tricky, I am sure they'll stamp well, but then they don't!
DeleteMe ha encantado la manicura en negro! Un chulada la verdad!
ReplyDeleteUn saludo
Gracias! me alegra que te haya gustado.
Deletelovely nail art!
ReplyDeleteI love it so much

Besos!
ReplyDeleteGracias Melina! Espero que andes bien :)
