My skin has been feeling so dry lately! I am not sure what is the reason, usually, my skin is never this dry this time of the year. So I decided to test this Etude House Hyaluronic Acid mask which promises deep moisturizing effect. Keep reading to find out how it went!

After your cleanser and toner, carefully unpack mask and smoothen over face. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes. Pat in remaining essences for better absorption. Follow with your sleeping mask or go to bed as is.

Mask shape and application


The "0.2 Therapy Air Mask"is the improved design for Masks from Etude house. As I've already said in one of my previous reviews, I'm very happy with this new version. The shape is large enough and long enough for my face and the tissue is super light, flexible and fits the face perfectly adhering to the skin!  I left it for 20 minutes, it doesn't feel tingly or any weird feeling on my sensitive skin. It didn't cause any redness or irritation at all.

Hyaluronic Acid



Hyaluronic acid isn't harsh or skin-stripping at all. In fact, it's the exact opposite – a powerful humectant (aka moisture-binding ingredient) that keeps skin plump and hydrated and, yes, young-looking. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring polysaccharide (carbohydrate) in the human body.
As body collagen declines, the appearance of wrinkles and discoloration become more visible. Maximizing collagen levels will keep skin supple. Hyaluronic acid keeps collagen synthesis up, as well as retaining skin moisture, contributing to the anti-aging benefits to the skin. (Google Q&A)




Personal Experience


This package contains a folded sheet mask which bathes in 20ml of serum, which is a huge amount for one use! As I already know that, this time I did a little experiment while using the mask.

I needed to do my makeup in the morning for an event, and my skin was terribly dry. So I apply this mask in the morning. There isn't exactly a recommended time in the day for applying this kind of masks! But of course, before going to sleep is always the BEST time. However my skin was in need of a little moisture help, so I applied it and let it pose for 20 minutes.

The serum in it is very liquidy and feels very emollient. I removed the mask and lightly massage the remaining product onto my skin, which sank in completely 3 minutes later.  I can't begin to tell you how much my dry skin appreciate this mask! It was really immediate effect, the skin looked moisturized, the signs of dryness were gone!

I definitely noticed my skin smooth, plumper, and moisturized after applying this mask. my makeup went on beautifully and no sign of dryness beneath my matte foundation. That's something you might want to take into account if you have dry skin.

I told you I had done a little experiment with this mask, but what was that about? Well, once I took the mask from its package, the remaining serum in it was a lot! So I carefully saved it in the fridge for the evening. When I came back from my event, I took my makeup off and apply the remaining serum, yes, all by itself, without a mask or anything. I just pat until it was completely absorbed. I went to sleep and I woke up next morning to beautifully plump skin! Bye, bye dryness!
