Hello, my lovelies! Happy Friday!
A great weekend ahead! Today is date night with hubby, we will go out for dinner and then we have tickets for the theatre! YAY!!
Tomorrow we'll host my boy's 7th birthday party, we have 14 guests (children), so, while I'm writing this, the first layer of my cake is in the oven, and the second in the mixer, haha. I hope I won't screw things up, multitasking is really not my thing. If you are curious to see the results, you can check my Instagram Stories here, I'll also put updates of my outfit for tonight and tomorrow's children party.
I really don't have plans for Sunday, other than having a good rest, what about you?
It's time for nail art! Today's "Nail Stamping Sisterhood" challenge is still Love themed, and we ought to create manicures with "Hearts". I'm so over Valentine's day right now, that I thought to do something in totally different colours, so I used a beautiful light blue and a deep plummy purple. I hope you like it!
For this manicure, I used my signature technique which is stamping over gradient. The principle is very easy, firstly you create a gradient on your nails with two or more colours and the you stamp on top of it!
The easy and quick instructions to recreate this manicure:
1) I painted four of my nails with two coats of light blue OPI Dreams Need Clara-fication and one of my nails (accent nail) with OPI I'll Have a Manhattan
2) Once dry, I sponged a gradient on top of the blue nails using both colours and a disposable makeup sponge.
3) I sealed the gradient with topcoat and waited for it to dry.
4) Finally, I stamped my chosen design with a silver stamping polish. That's all!
- OPI nail polish "I'll have a Manhattan" from Breakfast at Tiffany's collection *
- OPI nail polish "Dreams Need Clara-fication" from The Nutcracker and the Four Realm Collection *
