Hello, lovelies!
I am super excited today because I have recently got the NEW  BH Cosmetics Let me introduce you to The amazing Zodiac LOVE SIGNS palette!!
Last year I have used the first edition of the Zodiac palette all the year round creating different looks inspired in each Zodiac sign, and this year I count on doing the same thing with the second edition of this Palette!
Shall we take a closer look?

My thoughts on the palette

BH Cosmetics is no doubt one of my favourite brands because they offer great quality at a very budget-friendly price and a wide range of colours (they actually have all the crazy colours I am usually fond off). In fact, their range is quite large for such an affordable brand. They are also cruelty-free, which is always a good thing. This palette is not an exception.
The brand BH Cosmetics launched their first (and original) Zodiac Palette at the endo of 2017 and it was a total score! If you are interested in learning more about the original Zodiac palette you can check out my review here.
As they announced the launch of a second Zodiac palette inspired by the "Love Signs" I wondered if the colours in it would be of the excellent quality as their predecessor. The new Zodiac palette contains 12 baked shimmering eyeshadows and 12 highly pigmented pressed matte shades inspired by the signs of the Zodiac, as well as a highlighter.

The packaging

The housing of the eyeshadows is square sturdy black cardboard with a lid. The cardboard palette is decorated with a holographic print that is simply a marvel to watch. Inside and outside the holo painting gleams and sparkles while you move the palette, soooo pretty. The palette comes with a paper protection sleeve that I plan on keeping!
The palette has a mirror, a quite large mirror, which gives more weight and of course more versatility in terms of where you can use the palette. Although, I wouldn't think of it as a friendly-travel palette because it is quite large. It contains 24 shadows and a highlighter, summing up 30g of product.
I really love the packaging!

The colours

The 25 colours contained in this palette are perfectly distributed according to texture and colour family. There are 12 baked shimmery shades, which are the round ones you see. Each of them is named after a Zodiac sign! This is great because BH Cosmetics do not usually name their shadows, so this is VERY welcome. There are 12 highly pigmented matte shadows, which are the rectangular ones. Each of them also corresponds to a Zodiac sign. So for each sign, you have a shimmer and a matte shade. The only "unnamed" shade is the highlighter in the centre.

The quality of the shadows, when swatching them with my fingers they all are SUPER pigmented with a great pay off. While working with the brush on my eyelids (I haven't tested all the colours yet) I am impressed! The quality is the same as the previous Zodiac palette, all the mattes are outstanding, creamy upon application and they blend very easily. I don't notice fall out upon application so far, but as I say I haven't tried all the colours yet.

Compared to the previous Zodiac palette

This palette is brighter and sunnier than the previous one. I find the set of colours to be warmer than the previous one, thus more wearable. But that doesn't mean they aren't as fun!  I LOVE how the palette is organized, I find it is perfectly coherent, like most palettes from BH Cosmetics that I have (which for me is one of the strong points of BH Cosmetics, to organize the colours in a functional way for the artist). The shimmer shades seem to be organized by colour family and the mattes seem to be organized by function, although there also grouped by colour similarity. It is an organization that speaks to me and as soon as I open the palette there are many ideas of colours combinations that come to my mind. The possibilities are endless!

The swatches

I had trouble uploading the pictures of the swatches, but I will do it a.s.a.p !!

Who will like this palette

I would recommend the BH Zodiac LOVE SIGNS palette to every makeup lover who would appreciate a pop of sparkly colour, but that likes also neutral WARM mattes. It is a very complete palette that will take you from day to night to WOW. If you don't own a colourfull palette yet, and you'd like to experiment more with colours I'd say you need to pick this one. It is budget friendly, so you don't need to break the bank to get it. Besides, it covers a wide range of undertones so it will suit many different skin tones.

I know I will enjoy this palette a lot! I have already set a challenge to myself, each month I'll be creating a look for each sign of the Zodiac LOVE SIGNS using the corresponding colours in the palette, starting right now! See below my "Pisces Look"

My "Pisces look of the day" using BH Cosmetics Zodiac LOVE SIGNS palette

 - Gabriella Salvete Nude Powder Hydrating SPF 15
 - NYX Professional Makeup Matte Bronzer "Medium"
-  Diorskin Nude Shimmer #02

Eyes/Yeux:
Urban Decay Primer Potion Anti-Age
- NEW BH Cosmetics Zodiac "Love Signs" Palette
- Gabriella Salvete Eye pencil Brown
- Essence Cosmetics Brown Mascara

Lips/Lèvres:
-  MAC Forbbiden Sunrise lipstick  (discontinued, find similar here)

How to

For this look, I used only the shades in the Zodiac palette. First I created a transition gradient in the crease using two matte shades Pisces and Taurus. Then, in the centre of the mobile lid, I applied a beautiful shimmery bronzed taupe in Pisces. I used the highlighter to illuminate the inner corner and also in the high points of my cheekbones, forehead and on the bridge of the nose.

To give more definition to my eyes I used a brown eye pencil along my lash line and added lots of mascara. On the face, I applied a blusher by MAC, a bronzer by DIOR and the highlighter included in the Zodiac Love signs palette. On the lips, I used a matte Orange lipstick by MAC.

The BH Cosmetics Zodiac LOVE Signs palette is available here and it retails for USD 27
