Spring break started today here in Biel and all we can think of is our much awaited trip to Rome! The countdown has started! Have you ever been to Rome?
Today, it's time for a new Monday Shadow Challenge. This time I've created a softer look for spring, to change a little bit after all my bright crazy looks lately, LOL! The colours for the challenge are "Dusty Rose" and "Warm Brown", I'd say this is one very wearable look, check it out!

Can you even believe March is coming to an end? Where did this month go? As every month, it is time for a new edition of my "shopping my stash" challenge!
I started this monthly challenge back in 2017, but it seems it is still a relevant thing to do! If you are in a "low buy", "no buy" and/or "shop your stash" project, you are of course invited to share your own experience! During the month of March I've been using an one of the most beautiful and useful palette by Chanel the lovely "Charming" quint, which is now discontinued, but the truth is I have completely forgotten about it until now, so it was a perfect candidate for my challenge.

How has your weekend been so far? We are having a little rain and dull clouds today, that will probably stick around for a few more days. So I thought the idea of using a vibrant colour like "Chartreuse" would be ideal to brighten up our days!
It is time for a new edition of "When Colors Collide" nail art challenge, the colours proposed this week are "Chartreuse and brown" so this is what I came up with. I hope you like it!

Last year I have used the first edition of the Zodiac palette all the year round creating different looks inspired in each Zodiac sign, and this year I count on doing the same thing with the second edition of this Palette!

We had the first snowfall here yesterday, nothing major, just a few magical snowflakes that kept falling the whole afternoon, like announcing winter is here. Do you like winter? I am a bit divided about it. I like cooler temperatures, but not freezing ones. I like to watch by the window the snow quietly falling, but not having to shovel it in the morning!! lol Luckily I don't have to, that's what I love of living downtown in an appartment ;) ;) ;) Does it snow where you live?
Today, it's time for a new edition of the "Monday Shadow Challenge"! (Yes, I know, one day too late, oops!). We were prompted to create a makeup look with "Royal blue" and "purple" colours, two quite intense hues! I prepared a bold and sassy makeup with the Norvina and Masquerade palettes, I know the result is quite "in your face", but I hope you like it.

Hello, sweeties! How are you?
It's been one year since Fenty Beauty, the makeup line by the famous pop star Rihana, was launched and I had never indulged in anything from this brand. A couple of weeks ago we took a short vacation in France, and you know vacation rhymes with shopping ;) So I finally decided to pick one product from her beauty line. I chose this beautiful red liquid lipstick named "Uncensored" because it has so many great reviews and, no matter how large your makeup collection/stash s, there is always room for a new red lippy, right?
Today's edition of the "Monday Shadow Challenge" using the colours "Gold and Red" seemed the perfect occasion to propose a makeup look featuring the Fenty Beauty "Uncensored" lipstick. Those colours would be appropriate for a Holidays/Christmas look! I hope you like it.

The mild and warm-ish weather we've been having since the end of summer is gone, and Autumn came this weekend in full force. So, the past weekend, we switched into indoors activities, but not less fun! We hosted a small children Halloween party at home and also attended my godson 14th Birthday party on Saturday and we had a lazy family Sunday that was such a great way to REST. I definitely needed that time to slow down and start this week with more energy! What is your favourite indoor activity for the cold and rainy weekends?

LOL. After a couple of week of enjoying myself quite a bit on weekends, it's been hard writing a blogpst on Monday. Because, you know, days are only 24 hours long, lol. I hope you are having a fabulous week so far. I wanted to post my weekly makeup look today even though it is already a bit late because tomorrow will be kind of busy day. I promise I will keep it short and to the point!
Yesterday's "Monday Shadow Challenge" prompted us to create a makeup combining "Silver" and "Carmine red", but in total honesty, I wasn't feeling the "silver" these days! I have been wanting to create a dark smokey with red lips for ages because you know how this is said to be a "No-NO" in the makeup world! So, there you get quite a challenge combining a strong eye look with a fiery lipstick and how you actually CAN do it! Keep reading to find out how.

I've done this several times in the past, so I thought to twist things up a bit to make them more interesting this time. So I came up with this manicure with sunflowers, which are currently in full bloom! I hope you like it!

It's been raining, the temperatures have decreased and I can smell Fall in the Air!! Who else out there has a preference for the autumnal season? Well, I know, most people prefer Summer or Spring, I can see why, but for me, there is nothing like Fall. It is more than just the warm golds, oranges and browns of the landscape, it is full of meaning to me. Nature starts to prepare for what will come (rougher times). In fact, when you stop to think about it, Fall reminds us that there is no change without a period of transition and preparation. Nothing happens so abruptly that there are no signs prior to it, we are just maybe not paying attention to those signs, but change is never a surprise. Well, of course, sometimes it is to us, but only when we were incapable of perceiving the signs! Watching around us seems like an obvious thing to do, but we are all so preoccupied with our everyday tasks that sometimes the simplest things are imperceptible to us.

When Fall approaches and as I get ready to enjoy the colourful show that nature throws for us, I like to change to incorporate more "Fall" like colours into my life, maybe in my home decoration, my wardrobe and of course my makeup! Do you do the same? It is fun! But it is even more fun to do so without breaking the bank and using what you already have at home.
Today I'd like to share with you a new edition of my "shopping my stash" challenge with colours that remind me of Fall but that are also vivid and suitable for Summer, as a transition between these two. This month I've been playing with Dior 5 Couleurs #634 Golden Flower, which I think is perfect for this period of change :)

Yesterday was Mother's day in many countries and also in Switzerland! We celebrated it discreetly with a brunch I prepared, but I must say I was spoilt rotten by my kids and hubby, I got so many presents! (If you are curious you can check them on my Instagram!). Other than that, it was a gloomy weekend so we spent most of it resting, watching tv and playing game boards.When is Mother's day in your country? How do you celebrate it?

It seemed a bit complicated at first to ut these two shades together in one look, but once it was done I found it quite cool. Keep reading to find out!

Have you done anything special last weekend? last week it snowed a lot around here and we were hoping it would stick through the weekend so we could take the kids sledding, and it did! So we had lots of fun in the snow! Has it snowed where you live?
Now, let's get into makeup! As much as I enjoy playing in the snow with my children, I'm pretty much fed up with winter by now and I REALLY want Spring to arrive. Seriously. Today's makeup was done last week when the temperature reached -20°C and I was praying for it to get warmer! The Monday Shadow Challenge combines "chocolate brown and anise green" and I created a simple makeup as a transition from winter to spring. I hope you like it!
Makeup │Rusty orange look [Monday Shadow Challenge]
Hello, my lovelies!
How was your weekend? We freaked out a bit on Friday because our youngest one woke up and she had scratched herself everywhere hurting herself (even though her fingernails were very, very short). We know her eczema can be itchy, but this was unprecedented! I remembered there was a warning of chickenpox at the daycare, but as both my children are vaccinated, I didn't pay much attention. Suddenly, I thought she might have caught the chickenpox despite of the vaccine, which is totally possible, as it is not 100% effective as other vaccines. On top of it, my boy told me he had a couple of spots himself, which to me looked exactly like chickenpox spots. So I was mentally preparing for a hell of a weekend. INSTEAD, on Saturday everyone woke up super fit and felling better, without spots or itchiness! It was soooo weird!? What was it? Could it be that they caught the illness but as they're vaccinated that was a soft form of chickenpox? or maybe it wasn't that at all? Have you experienced something like this? Anyways, in the end it was a sunny, relieved, beautiful weekend!

I can't believe November is almost finished. This year I don't have a wishlist for the Black Friday. This year I have purchased two awesome makeup palettes from Anastasia Beverly Hills, and makeup wise I don't have any lemmings currently, so I will be skipping the Black Friday offers. The mailings are really overwhelming these days, but I've stepped out of the game of buying things just because they're discounted. So today I will be showing you a new edition of of my challenge "Shopping my stash". This month I've been playing with Dior 5 couleurs 876 Trafalgar, which I haven't used in a while. The time passes so quickly. Today is the last day of the Autumn school break and children are excited because we will go to the Cinema again. This time we'll go watch Cars 3 and the kids are beyond excited. October is slowly fading, we had beautiful sunny days lately, but today is a typical Autumn day weather wise, with grey sky and chilly breeze. So are the colours of my makeup, typically Automnal!
This month I've been playing with Chanel Quadra Eyeshadow #268 Candeur et expérience, which I haven't reached for in a while, but I must say this palette colours scream "Fall" so I had to include it in this challenge. Check out one of the looks I've created with it :)

I created a makeup look combining green and yellow metallic hues and I thought to show you a Fall makeup look in green and brown I created using only this palette!
