Hello, sweeties!
I hope you all had a great weekend (so far).
Today the "26 Great Nail art Ideas Challenge" proposed us to make a manicure using a special technique "pattern on pattern" or "double stamping". I've done this several times in the past, so I thought to twist things up a bit to make them more interesting this time. So I came up with this manicure with sunflowers, which are currently in full bloom! I hope you like it!
For this manicure I decided to use a double stamping technique, I layered regular stamping and reversed samping! This is in fact simpler than it sounds.
Basically, I started painting my nails with two coats of a dusty rose nail polish OPI Somwhere over the rainbow mountains. Once the base colour was dry, I first stamped four of my nails using a rose gold nail polish and a striped imaged adorned with sunflowers. Later, I reverse-stamped the sunflowers on my ring finger, filling in the image with yellow and brown nail polish.
Finally, I sealed the design with a clear top coat. That was it!
- OPI Somwhere over the rainbow mountains (dusty rose),
- Butter London nail polish "Goss" (rose gold),
- MoYou London stamping polish "Bahamas Punch" (yellow),
- OPI "That's what friends are Thor" (brown polish)
- Beauty BigBang Stamping plate XL-024
- Beauty BigBang stamper and scraper
- Seche Vite topcoat
Love,
Nati
