Happy Friday, sweeties!
I had to think that phrase twice, as it doesn't exactly feel like a Friday for me. Both my kids came down with the flu, which I must say is especially virulent this year in Switzerland. Is this true in your country as well?
Today I'd like to share with you a new makeup look I created using my newest palette. I REALLY wanted to challenge myself to create twelve makeup looks with this BHCosmetics Zodiac palette, one for each Zodiac sign, and today's makeup has been done using the "Capricorn" colours from the palette.

Well, I honestly didn't think I would be able to come up with another makeup this week, given the family "unhealthy" situation. But I actually made it to create my first of the TWELVE looks on the very last day of "Capricorn" sign. I want to state clearly that I don't really care for horoscope or Zodiac signs in general, and I don't know much about it, I just know that each sign roughly corresponds to a month of the year, and as there are twelve of them I thought it would be nice to make it a challenge to present you one new look each month. Capricorn sign starts on December 21st through January 19th, so today is actually the very last day for Capricorn. That's about all I know, haha LOL.
In the palette, the colours that correspond to Capricorn are matte khaki green and a foil baked shadow in a kind of military green. I decided to use both, but also add other colours from the palette to make the look more wearable. I had so much fun doing it! I can't wait to create more looks inspired by the colours of this gorgeous palette!

Khaki Green and Berry for a "Capricorn" look

For this look I used:

To create this "Capricorn" look, I started using the matte Aquarius shade as a transition shade on the crease. I then used the matte Capricorn (khaki green) in the crease and outer corner. I then I applied the shimmery Capricorn shade all over my mobile eyelid and darken a little the outer corner of my eyes using the matte Libra shade, which I also applied on my lower lashline. I added just a touch of the shimmery Aquarius shade to the centre of the mobile eyelid. Finally, I applied a black eyeliner an I added loads of mascara. I experienced a bit of fall out during application, especially of the matte shades. I cleaned that up, but I see on my pics that some fall-out happened after my cleaning, I believe the shade that is very powdery and keeps falling out after the application is the matte Libra shade.

On the face, I used a bronzer from Ginvenchy, a blusher by Essence and I skipped the highlighter. On the lips, I used a beautiful matte berry red lipstick from Wetnwild.

I have enjoyed creating this look, as I don't often use khaki green and it was challenging having to use both "Capricorn" shades together. I hesitated at first, but I quite like the outcome. I can't wait to use the colours of next month for a new look!
I hope you've like this look and don't hesitate to leave me a comment if you have a question or suggestion!!
Love,
Nati
