Hello, sweeties! It's me again!
It's time for a new Zodiac inspired makeup. As part of my 2018 resolution, I'm showing using more and in new creative ways the makeup I own instead of buying new items. That is why I challenged myself to create twelve different looks with the BHCosmetics Zodiac palette, one for each sign. Today, I created a Libra look for the "Zodiac challenge".
The shimmery colour for "Libra" zodiac sign is such a fantastic and special shade that will transform any look you do with it into WOW! As I applied the colours I realized that on the skin they look quite different than what they show on the pan, it was so much fun using them. I hope you like it!

I want to state clearly that I don't really care for horoscope or Zodiac signs in general, and I don't know much about it, I just know that each sign roughly corresponds to a month of the year, and as there are twelve of them I thought it would be nice to make it a challenge to present you one new look each month. Libra sign starts on September 23rd through October 23rd, that's about all I know ;)

In the gorgeous BH Cosmetics Zodiac palette, the colours that correspond to Libra are matte dark brown with a purple tint, but when applied to the skin this colour appears like a dark mauve!! The other Libra colour is a foil baked shadow in rich reddish-pink colour, which has such gorgeous warm magenta and plum reflections, it is absolutely outstanding!! I decided to use both, but I also added another colour from the palette to create a softer transition. I hope you like the makeup I came up with ♥

Mauve and Magenta for a "Libra" look

For this look I used:

The colours for Libra are two statement colours that will glam up any look you want to create. I think they are very intense and would look very editorial on very pale skin tones, but on black or brown skin this would be ABSOLUTE BOMB!
I decided to do an intense and edgy eye look for Libra, which I paired it with a brownish-rose lipstick that is now a classic in the makeup world as it is the "Lolita" shade by Kat von D! I also used quite a pigmented and shimmery blush by NYX cosmetics. I applied a very thin line of liquid eyeliner just because my eyelashes are so short and I didn't feel like wearing falsies.

This look came out so UNEXPECTED! Yes, because I never imagined that this colours would look so vibrant once applied! I am super happy with the colours, although the closeup photos show that I haven't blended enough the matte colours, oops. I think this lok would look so great AS IT IS on a deeper skin tone person. What do you think?
Next month I'll be doing a Scorpio look, the colours look perfect for Fall! so stay tuned for that.
If you are curious to see the looks I've created for each sign so far, please check them in the list down below:

I hope you've liked this look and, please, don't hesitate to leave me a comment if you have a question or suggestion!

Love,
