Edgy Look in Mauve and Magenta for the Sign of Libra [Zodiac Makeup Challenge]
Hello, sweeties! It's me again!
It's time for a new Zodiac inspired makeup. As part of my 2018 resolution, I'm showing using more and in new creative ways the makeup I own instead of buying new items. That is why I challenged myself to create twelve different looks with the BHCosmetics Zodiac palette, one for each sign. Today, I created a Libra look for the "Zodiac challenge".
The shimmery colour for "Libra" zodiac sign is such a fantastic and special shade that will transform any look you do with it into WOW! As I applied the colours I realized that on the skin they look quite different than what they show on the pan, it was so much fun using them. I hope you like it!

Happy Monday, my lovelies!
This weekend my husband and I caught the flu (or something) and were feeling under the weather. I called off ALL our weekend plans because I was feeling extremely tired and weak. I did nothing, and I even nap on the couch a little. It was a while since I last took it that easy. I completely emptied my mind and thought "anything else can wait" and I decided to have a rest. It felt so good and it did me so well, although I still have a sore throat I'm feeling with much more energy today.
Honestly, I don't know when this started, but at a certain point we started ignoring our bodies and taking medicines and pain killers to be able to go on with our lives, daily chores, activities, even the "fun things" we plan. When did "the plan" take a purpose on itself? When things and "to do" lists overcame the wellbeing of a human being? I realise I am very privileged to be able to say "I'm sick, I will stop and take care of myself". Half of the world can't do that. Even more than that, unfortunately. Have you been stopping to take care of yourself when you are feeling bad? It is a real luxe, but it is also an obligation.
Now, to the fun part: MAKEUP!! Today's makeup challenge with the "Monday Shadow Challenge" takes us to the "Autumn colour" territory, as we must use both "Marsala" and "Magenta" colours in our looks. I love these warm tone wine reds and pinks on me, as they make my green eyes pop. I did a coloured smokey using my beloved "Modern Renaissance" palette. I hope you like it :)

Hellooo sweeties! How is your Monday? Mine is so steep!!
I had a beautiful weekend with my family although we didn't do anything special, I guess we were just happy. However, last night I couldn't get myself to sleep. I know exactly the two espresso coffees I got during the day thinking "how bad could this be" are to blame for my insomnia. I've been caffein-free for about four years now, I only drink Italian espresso as a treat in very rare occasions (like 4-5 times per year). The result was my body chemistry reacted to caffeine and I only got two hours of sleep :(
I felt so alone this morning on Instagram, everyone was worshiping coffee and I was cursing it... Have you ever gone caffeine-free? Does caffeine deprive you of sleep?
Well, enough about sleepless nights, let's talk about makeup!! Today's prompt for the Monday Shadow Challenge is "Khaki & Magenta" association. I knew exactly what I wanted to do from the beginning, but then I hesitated about the finishing touches... therefore you get three slight variations of the same look, LOL! Which one is your favourite?
