Hello, sweeties! Have you had a nice weekend?
We had a harsh time the past two days as my daughter and I have been sick and I was so tired I slept most of my Sunday afternoon. Honestly, I can't wait for our next vacation, LOL!
Today, I'm showing you a makeup combining emerald green and silver for the Monday Shadow Challenge. I hope you like it!

How I did it

Emerald green is such a fascinating colour, you'd be surprised how versatile it is and how it could easily be adapted to be worn for everyday looks (especially in Summer. I wanted to do a look for a special occasion, but keeping it very bright instead of smokey, and I think combining it with a very luminous silver really helped me achieve the look I had in mind.

Here is how I proceeded, I first worked with one skin tone shadow from MAC on the crease. Once that was done, I added the green cream shadow from WYCON on the outer 2/3 of the mobile eyelid using a flat synthethic brush to saturate the colour. Next I added the silver eyeshadow from Essence in the 1/3 inner part of my eyelid. To finish the eyes makeup I balanced with the same colours in the lower lash line and  I draw a thin line with a flick using my Essence liquid ink eyeliner.
On the face, I applied bronzer and a very luminous blush from Wet n Wild. On the lips I used a shimmery lipstick from Chanel (Oldie but goodie).

Nous avons eu un weekend crévant, car ma fille et moi avons été malades et j'étais tellement fatiguée que j'ai dormi la plupart de mon dimanche après-midi. Honnêtement, je ne vois pas l'heure de nos prochaines vacances, mdr!
Aujourd'hui, je vous présente un maquillage combinant vert émeraude et argent pour le Monday Shadow Challenge. J'espère que tu aimeras!



Comment je l'ai fait

 Le vert émeraude est une couleur aussi fascinante, vous seriez surpris de sa polyvalence et de la façon dont il pourrait facilement être adapté pour être utilisé pour tous les jours (en particulier en été). Je voulais faire un look pour une occasion spéciale, mais tout en gardant le côté claire et lumineux au lieu de faire un smokey foncé et je pense que le combiner avec un argent très lumineux m'a vraiment aidé à réaliser le look que j'avais à l'esprit.

 Voici comment j'ai procédé, j'ai travaillé d'abord avec un fard nude de MAC sur le pli. Une fois que cela a été fait, j'ai ajouté un fard en crème vert de WYCON sur les 2/3 extérieurs de la paupière mobile à l'aide d'un pinceau plat synthetique pour saturer la couleur. Ensuite, j'ai ajouté l'ombre à paupières argenté d'Essence Cosmetics dans le 1/3 intérieur de ma paupière. Pour terminer le maquillage des yeux, j'ai équilibré avec les mêmes couleurs dans la ligne des cild inférieurs et j'ai tracé une ligne mince avec une virgule en utilisant mon eye-liner Essence liquid ink.
Sur le visage, j'ai appliqué un bronzer et un blush très lumineux de Wet n Wild. Sur les lèvres, j'ai utilisé un rouge à lèvres brillant de Chanel (Oldie mais goodie).

I'm quite happy with this look, although I'm having a hard time with my winged eyeliner lately, as I'm so tired, my right eye looks even more hooded and smaller than usual. But I'm really loving the color combo!

Je suis plutôt contente de ce look, bien que j'ai eu du mal avec mon eye-liner, car je suis tellement fatiguée que ma paupière droite tombe encore plus que d'habitude. Mais j'aime vraiment l'association de couleurs!
