Makeup │ Sunny look in Orange and Gold
Hello, lovelies! Happy Monday!
We are heading right into Easter and I can't believe it. The time passes too quickly! I have the impression Mardi Gras was just yesterday. Some people find the lockdown or social distancing are giving them the impression of super long days. In my case, I feel I have not enough time! More precisely, not enough "ME" time.
Kids are 24/7 at home, demanding, attention, food, etc. It's like having three newborns again! hahaha. I try to be positive but I do miss to take time just for me. When I work out, they are there, when I'm taking a shower, they are there; when I'm trying to take care of my skin/hair, they are there! If you are an old visitor, you know how much I love playing with makeup and doing bold looks. These days when I'm not leaving the house, I don't do my makeup anymore, but I really miss it. So, last week I decided I was going to create a look just for FUN, I grabbed my BH Cosmetics Zodiac LOVE SIGNS* palette to create a look in Orange and gold for the Monday Shadow Challenge and I am so happy I did. I hope you like it!

I'm baaaaaack!
No, I didn't go anywhere. I've been absent from the blog and Social Media in the past week, I got the nasty flu, this time it really caught me hard! I could not for the life of me get my butt out of bed, my head was dizzy and I felt weak and useless most of the week. But today I'm already feeling better, so I'm here, ready to share with you my latest makeup look.
Today's challenge should combine Gold and Black, but, honestly, I didn't feel like doing a heavy black smokey eye, I've combined these two colours in a more dramatic way here (if you're interested). But my half-sick-pale-AF me could not pull off black eyeshadow right now. So I went for a luminous and bright summer look with black eyeliner and that's all the black you're gonna get from me today! ;) So, here you are, my look in gold, coral and a teeny tiny bit of black. I hope you like it!

I've been absent from the blog in the past two days, I usually post for the Monday Shadow Challenge on Mondays, haha. But I've been focused on my new workout program and I'm super exhausted at the end of the day, I don't find the energy to blog! Hopefully, this physical effort will serve the purpose of making me gain muscles which will eventually benefit all my body, my health, my longevity, my mood and my energy levels, as well. But as every process, it takes time and PAIN to achieve a goal!! LOL. In the meantime, bear with me, please.
Today's challenge should combine Turquoise and Grey, honestly, I don't like grey on me, or with any colour! So, my look in Turquoise has brown, bronze, gold and coral, and a teeny, tiny bit of grey in the outer corner, I hope you like it!

We are having a lovely Spring so far, typical rainy weather in the past few days, but nothing we wouldn't know about April already. We're expecting some sunny days towards the end of the week, and this is energizing me.
In total honesty, I'm glad we're having some rain, because this gives me a break with allergies, when the weather is wet, pollen does not fly around and I feel much much better! Does this happen to you too?
It's time for a makeup challenge! The Monday Shadow Challenge thought Green and pink would be a nice combination for spring and, in my opinion, they had that right! I love green and pink as they create a lovely soft, luminous and fresh look! take a look!

I'm back! Last week I decided to take a break from blogging, I think I was having a "blogging burnout" :O !!!
I've been sleeping very little in the past few weeks, my average sleep was around 4:30 hours per night, including weekends of course. I started feeling terribly fatigued and decided to put the blog in pause and take more care of myself. In fact, I usually work late hours for the blog, when the children are already in bed, that's a time I'm not sleeping! I decided to tweak a couple of things in my routine. also, I wasn't feeling the urge of posting and sharing as I usually do, despite of having a lot of new products to test and stories to share... I took that as a sign and decided to slow down.
I spent a gorgeous sunny long weekend for Easter, with the family, my children are a great source of energy for me. I also spent a fair time working out and planning my meals in a healthier more nutritious way for me (I'm trying to lose some weight but without losing muscle and It's not as easy as it sounds!!). So, what has been keeping you busy lately?
Now, let's get into makeup! It's time for a new Monday Shadow Challenge,"this week the challenge is a bit special because it's all about "PINK"! Yes, that's right! Two or more shades of pink combined in one same look. I thought this could be a good idea for a look a bit modern and also Kawai, I hope you will like my makeup :)

We just came back from our short trip to Rome, we spent a lovely time there, sun, rain, sun, rain, sun, many wonderful moments with the kids, the highlight of it being their first time to the Stadium to support their team AS Roma. We ate delicious food, we visited some wonderful historical monuments, we walked a lot, we slept too little and had too many ice creams! It was a great experience to be back there after many years.
Now, let's get into makeup! It's time for a new Monday Shadow Challenge. "Blue" and "Grey", are the colours for this week, I must say this is spot on inspiration for April's sky! it turns from blue to grey to blue again in just a few hours! lol. I hope you will like my makeup :)

Spring break started today here in Biel and all we can think of is our much awaited trip to Rome! The countdown has started! Have you ever been to Rome?
Today, it's time for a new Monday Shadow Challenge. This time I've created a softer look for spring, to change a little bit after all my bright crazy looks lately, LOL! The colours for the challenge are "Dusty Rose" and "Warm Brown", I'd say this is one very wearable look, check it out!

I took an involuntary break from blogging last week, as you could see I haven't posted since last Monday, except for a contribution article about skincare trends. I have been feeling terribly tired, I also caught some kind of flu, mixed with my spring allergies, but above all is this persistent fatigue that drains all my energy! What can I do? My hubby says I should call the doctor for a check up...
Today, finally, I have a new makeup look to show you. This week, the colours for the Monday Shadow Challenge are "Lapiz Blue" and "Coral", what a fine combo!! I'm officially knackered, after having too much wine last night and a romantic evening with the hubby, I only got 4 hours of sleep and spent most of my Monday wandering around trying to remember "what was I going to do" and falling asleep in every corner! Definitely, this kind of things isn't for me anymore! LOL, I need my good night of sleep to be somewhat productive! What about you? what is your minimum required sleeping? Mine would be 5h30, anything under that and I'm a zombie!
As every Monday, I have a new makeup look to show you. This week, the Monday Shadow Challenge combines "Burgundy" and "Green", not to criticize the organizer of this challenge, but it seems to me we've been having Burgundy as a colour a little too often! I am not going to lie, I like a nice sexy burgundy lip in winter, but I've done this three times this year already! I wanted to change things up little and REALLY CHALLENGE MYSELF UP! So this time I created a look it's totally NOT MY STYLE. This is so out of my comfort zone I even hesitated to publish here, but HEY! What kind of challenge would that be if that was easy? So here it goes my look with GREEN LIPS! I hope you find it interesting!

We spent a wonderful sunny weekend celebrating the 7th birthday of my boy. I can barely believe he's grown up so much, he's so handsome and tall. It seemed only yesterday I was carrying him in my arms! It was a beautiful weekend and a tiring one too. But the sun is shining, the days are warm, spring is coming, it's time to pull out the bright coloured palettes and the poppy lipsticks!

I'm in such a good mood these days! It must be definitely thanks to the superb sunny weather we are having! It is still quite chilly, but the sky is clear blue which allows us to hope the Spring will not take long to arrive.
Today I have a new makeup look to share with you for the Monday Shadow Challenge. This week, we were supposed to combine "Marsala color" and "red" two of the trendiest colours this winter!! That was the plan, but in the end I changed my mind and ended up using two plum/wine colours for this look. I hope you like it.

Hello, my lovelies! How are you today?
I'm very happy these days! There are so many things I'd like to share with you, not enough time! Many cool things are happening that put me in the best mood. The past weekend we were invited by the lovable people of Wildhorn Fine Cosmetics of Switzerland to the opening if their first store, in Crans-Montana. I will be telling you every detail of this event in a later post. But what can I say about Crans, that place is so beautiful! Hubby and I spent the weekend there and had a very relaxing (child-free) time. We also caught the (rare) occasion of stress-free set up to do a small fashion photo shoot for the blog. I've been caressing the idea of including a fashion section -with my own twist, that is- to this blog for far too long. The fact of not having a photographer was a bummer. Then my hubby "voluntarily" (haha, he wishes!) proposed himself as "Instagram husband". LOL It was a bit weird at first, but at the end we really enjoyed it, I must say it exceeded my expectations. I will be sharing those photos with you soon!
As you may have noticed, I haven't posted my makeup look on a Monday, as I usually do. The reason being, this week is "Sportswoche" or "Semaine Blanche" here in Biel, it means children don't have school and I spent the day with them yesterday, no time for editing for this mama. So, I'm posting today, the Monday Shadow Challenge combining "Mustard Yellow" and "Green" two colours that are terribly trendy this season!! I think that my look is quite wearable even though the colours are a bit out of my comfort zone. I hope you like it!

I hope your week started fabuloustically! As you know we got back home from Argentina on Friday and have struggled most of the weekend with painful jetlag. But today, everything got back in track, children woke up in time for school/daycare, hubby got all school bags and sports bags ready, I made breakfast on time too! haha, it's crazy how going back to the little things can be reassuring for the kids (and the adults ;) too). I also got back to the routine, which meant workout, laundry, tidying up the house, but I also got to create a makeup look for today's Monday Shadow Challenge!
Today's look is about combining "midnight Blue" and "Silver" and I came up with a coloured smokey eye with a twist. I hope you like it.

How are you planning to receive the year 2019? Are you going to celebrate it in some special way? Are you gathering with lots of friends or you prefer a more intimate and quiet celebration? We'll receive the year at my parent's house, with my brother's family and ours, and my father will make his famous "asado" which is a traditional Argentine barbecue!
Today I have my last makeup of the year for the "Monday Shadow Challenge" to share with you. This time I tried a Glossy black with glitter and red lips for a glam look, the result is less than perfect, but still wearable, lol.
