Hello, sweeties! Happy Monday!

I hope your week started fabuloustically! As you know we got back home from Argentina on Friday and have struggled most of the weekend with painful jetlag. But today, everything got back in track, children woke up in time for school/daycare, hubby got all school bags and sports bags ready, I made breakfast on time too! haha, it's crazy how going back to the little things can be reassuring for the kids (and the adults ;) too). I also got back to the routine, which meant workout, laundry, tidying up the house, but I also got to create a makeup look for today's Monday Shadow Challenge!

Today's look is about combining "midnight Blue" and "Silver" and I came up with a coloured smokey eye with a twist. I hope you like it.

Last week I missed the Monday Shadow Challenge, as I was still in Argentina with my family and had brought only minimal makeup with me. So this is officially my first participation of 2019! I'm so happy to keep sharing with my mates of the Facebook Group!

As you may notice on these photos, there is a red spot on my left eye, I noticed it this morning, it wasn't there last night when I went to sleep! It doesn't' hurt and it doesn't interfere with my vision, but it looks scary, lol. I will "keep an eye on it", haha.

For this look in midnight blue and silver, I decided to use a beautiful single pigment by L'oréal, I think these are still available, but I don't know if this colour still exists in the range. My look is a very intense blue smokey. I used two tones of brown to create a transition above my crease and a bit of black in my outer corner to add depth. In the inner corner, I packed the silver shadow which has a very lovely sparkle, but it is barely visible on my pictures, blah.

I hesitated between a nude and a pink lipstick and finally, I used this pretty pink to change things up a bit. On the face I applied bronzer generously because dark smokey eyes tend to make me look extra pale.

Coucou, mes belles! Joyeux lundi!!

J'espère que votre semaine a commencé fantastiquement! Comme vous le savez, nous sommes rentrés d’Argentine vendredi et nous avons eu beaucoup de difficultés avec le décalage horaire durant le weeken, ça a été douloureux. Mais aujourd'hui, tout est rentré dans l'ordre, les enfants se sont réveillés à temps pour l'école / la garderie, mon mari a préparé tous les sacs d'école et les sacs de sport, j'ai préparé le petit-déjeuner à l'heure aussi! haha. C'est fou comment revenir aux petites choses quotidiennes peut être rassurant pour les enfants (et les adultes ;) aussi). Je suis aussi revenu à la routine, qui consiste à faire de l'exercice, des lessives, du rangement, mais j'ai aussi dû créer un look de maquillage pour le Monday Shadow Challenge d'aujourd'hui!

Le look d'aujourd'hui consiste à combiner "Bleu nuit" et "Argent" et j'ai crée un smokey eye coloré. J'espère que vous aimerez!


La semaine dernière, j'ai raté le Monday Shadow Challenge, car j'étais toujours en Argentine avec ma famille et je n'avais apporté qu'un maquillage minimal. C'est donc officiellement  aujourd'hui ma première participation en 2019! Je suis si heureuse de continuer à partager avec mes amis du groupe Facebook!

 Comme vous pouvez le constater sur ces photos, il y a un point rouge sur mon œil gauche, je l'ai remarqué ce matin, il n'était pas là la nuit dernière quand je me suis endormie! Ça ne fait pas mal et ça ne gêne pas ma vision, mais ça fait peur, lol. Je vais "garder un œil dessus", haha.

Pour ce look bleu nuit et argent, j’ai décidé d’utiliser un beau pigment mono de L’oréal, je pense que ceux-ci sont toujours disponibles, mais je ne sais pas si cette couleur existe toujours dans la gamme. Mon look est un smokey bleu très intense. J'ai utilisé deux tons de brun pour créer une transition au-dessus de mon pli et un peu de noir dans mon coin extérieur pour ajouter de la profondeur. Dans le coin intérieur, j'ai ajouté un fard argenté qui a un très bel éclat, mais c'est à peine visible sur mes photos, bof.

 J'ai hésité entre un rouge à lèvres nude et rose et finalement j'ai utilisé cette jolie rose pour changer un peu les choses. Sur le visage, j'ai appliqué généreusement la poudre bronzante, parce que les yeux noirs et fumés ont tendance à me rendre extrêmement pâle.
