Wow, don't panic! I did not become a zombie! :) well not literally at least. Neither I'm getting ready for Halloween, it's way too early for that. I just want to keep you up with some personal stuff because I promised to do so. If you are interested in knowing how I'm doing with my weight loss project, then keep reading.
Some when in the middle of June I published a post about my ongoing project of changing my lifestyle nutrition wise and by that my aim of loosing some weight. I started in May and by mid-June I had already lost 4 kg. I was in the right path when at the beginning of July I injured my foot. Then my exercising program blew up, and all the movements I can do can be synthesized as "the zombie walking" that's how I call it. NO, I'm not showing you in video!!
Well, if you insist
My walking speed is around 0.5 km per hour, and I drag my plastered foot around in a couple of heavy orthopedic boots that don't make things easier, but without which I could not be standing on my feet. The maximal tolerance time of walking for me is about an hour. As bad blood circulation due to the plaster cast make my foot swollen and blue if I don't put my foot up to let blood circulate. My boy has quickly figured it out and takes profit of the situation, he just starts running whenever I want to reach him, and obviously I can never catch him!! (the tortoise runs faster than me!)
Well, that's that.
So there went my fashion plans through the drain... I guess I will stick to nails and makeup with the eventual skincare post, for the rest of the year ;)
Stay tuned! theres a little surprize coming right up!
Love you all,
Nati
Changes will come... Sorry to hear about your foot and congratulation on wise eating :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you will soon feel much better, just see this as an unfortunate delay to your plans. I am looking forward to see your plans come to life in the future :)
ReplyDeleteDon't worry Natalia, things will come together and you will get to where you want to be. The main thing is that your doing ok and coping with your injured foot. Getting your self better before you focus on trying to do too much is important. Well done on the weight you lost at the beginning (I think I'm about the same so far on my little journey) Just remember that the weight *did* came off and you will be able to get back to it, keep your chin up <3 xx
ReplyDeleteCuidate y recuperate, ya tendrás tiempo de mostrarnos esas estupendas entradas de moda que tenías pensada. Saludos Natalia.
ReplyDeleteGreat job with changing your lifestyle:) I'm sorry to hear about your leg. Hope you'll get well as soon as possible! I completely understand how you feel as I had a knee injury and now I'm waiting almost 3 months to heal and I'm a personal trainer and going crazy without working out:)
ReplyDeleteHang in there and stay motivated. I'm glad to see there seems to be a little bit of humor in your post despite this hiccup(s) in your plans. Please keep up posted, as I would love to see fashion posts too. Maybe you could do nail/makeup looks inspired by a top or dress so you don't have to postpone all of what you were looking forward to adding.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your issues. Oh my eating healthy and losing weight is the hardest thing I've ever had to do :-(
ReplyDeleteRecently I've had to start eating healthy because I've had major issues with my B12 and Iron - currently my B12 is below the lower limit! Being lactose intolerant and a vegetarian doesn't help me! But I'm slowly getting there. I'll deal with my weight issue once I'm into a healthy routine!!!!
I'm also experimenting with being gluten/wheat free - I've only been doing it for a week and I want to see the differences it has cutting these out of my eating. I've noticed a few major differences, but it is early days yet!
ve con calma yo también empece con la idea de bajar 3 kilos heheh
ReplyDeleteOh no :-( :-( That is not good news. Let's hope that once you lose your cast you'll be able to walk normal again. X
ReplyDeleteHi Nati, how have you been? We haven't heard from you in a while, so I just wanted to check and see how you were. I hope you're doing better! X
