Hello sweeties! Happy Friday!
This summer is high in colour makeup wise and I went bold with my picks so far, you could see it on my choices on MAC collections here and here and on Dior here. While I opted mainly for lippies and face products from other brands, Chanel stylo eyeshadows simply stole my heart!!
As I was contemplating the counter and considering to get "only one item" (without success :P) I finally went for two of the Stylo eyeshadows, 107 Campanule which is a medium purple with subtle violet and pink microshimmer, and 147 Caroube a metallic (but looks satin in most light situations) warm bronzed brown that is just so flattering!
Both eyeshadows are a dream to apply and have a refreshing effect on the skin, Caroube blends beautifully, and Campanule is more of a diva and definitely easier to work with the fingers. Both lasted perfectly on me for 8 hours with a primer (haven't tested for longer).
I also got a Stylo yeux Waterproof in 997 Orchidée which is simply glorious! I know Chanel hasn't been consistent with the formula on their waterproof retractable liners, but this one is among the best formulations I've tried from the brand! If you love purple you need this eyeliner!!
You might have seen thousands of swatches of these babies by now, yes I'm late to the party, so I'll skip that part and show you the looks I came up with using them (but if you really, really want to see swatches, then head to Sara's or to Sunny's blog!).
So here below I show you two FOTD wearing the Chanel items I got.

What a lovely haul! Purple always looks beautiful on you :) I think your make up looks lovely, I really like the look of the bottom stylo pencil, such a pretty colour! xx
ReplyDeleteI love that bright purple on your lower lash line, Nati :-) But then again all purple looks lovely on you. It's definitely 'your' color.
ReplyDeleteMi piace molto il primo look!
ReplyDeleteHey Nati, OMG that liner is intense! I've never tried to blend these out with a brush, as fingers work quite well. For the patchier spots I get from Campanule, I find that lightly dabbing the pencil back on is a good solution ;) These are SO pretty on your eyes!
ReplyDeleteI love the purples!
ReplyDeleteI love those shades so much. They're so pretty for the summer time xoxo
ReplyDeleteCampanule è semplicemente... wow! *_*
