Happy weekend lovelies!
I'm a bit late for the 23rd issue of the Nail Art Challenge called "40 Great Nail Art Ideas" which was due yesterday, the prompt this week is FOOD. I know, it may seem strange to decorate your nails with food related designs, but I think that it is fun and results can be very creative. Please, keep reading to enjoy over 40 nail art designs dedicated to this theme!

I own a MoYou London plate from the Cookbook Collection dedicated to "high Tea" theme and I was itching to use, so when I saw the 23rd week was about food, I knew I couldn't miss the opportunity to stamp some cut cupcakes :)

I did this manicure in the middle of the "swatching session" of OPI New Orleans collection  -a while ago- so I only did a reverse stamp over a plain colour. This is a great time saver tip for when you have a nail art challenge schedule and some swatching to do! I try to plan in advance the nail art ideas so I can do most of them while swatching. In that way I don't need to do two manicures, but only embellish my swatch!!

For this manicure I first painted two coats of  OPI Suizi Nails New Orleans  (from the newest OPI New Orleans collection) and waited for it to dry completely. I then reverse-stamped using  and Moyou London The cook book collection plate 07, Essence stampy white, and filled in some bits using OPI What's with the cattitude and Zoya Rooney.

What do you think of this cupcake manicure? I'm sure my challenge pals have been original and creative, so please visit the link-up here below to find many more food inspired nails!!

Love,
Nati
