Hello, my lovelies! Bonjour!
Can you believe May has already finished? I know I say this a lot, but honestly, I don't know where the last month went! Beauty-wise, that means it's time to take a look at empty tubes and bottles and see what will be repurchased and what wont!
Clarins Instant eye make-up remover: A bi-phase product for waterproof and heavy makeup. For quite a long time I have used the Clarins Gentle makeup remover. Last time I went to buy it this one was on offer, so I grabbed it to see if it would work for me. I was a bit apprehensive, as my eyes are pretty sensitive. I loved how easy and quickly this got rid of my makeup without irritating my eyes. I do not use waterproof anything, so I cannot speak for that part. But I do wear heavy makeup at occasions (coats and coats of mascara, smudge proof gel liner and eyeshadow), and this remover took care of it like is nobody's business. I will repurchase for sure.
Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair SychronizedRecovery complex II: I got this with very high expectations. This would deserve a review on its own, but I'll try to be brief. It is indicated for all skin types and I really like how my skin feels and looks right after application. But I haven't noticed anything spectacular on my face. After finishing the bottle, my hyperpigmentation, my pores, my dehydration, my lines of expression, everything is just there where it was . It could be argued that my skin would look even worse if I wasn't using it. That could be truth. But stop it from being worse is not enough for me to like a product, specially one with this price tag (85CHF 30ml). If I'm going to spend that kind of money I prefer doing it on something that got my skin to a better stage! Hence, I won't repurchase this one. I honestly think is hyper-hyped.
YSL Le teint La touche éclat: This foundation and I have a long love story of dewiness going on. I switch among a few foundations (including also drugstore ones, of course) and each time I grab this one, I go "aah, ooooh, why don't I use this more often?" Dewy finish, nice coverage, pleasant texture, long wear time and a great colour match for me. I have repurchased this yearly since 2013. I have noticed it has been recently renamed and probably reformulated (?) I am not sure, but I have already got a new bottle and I'm planning on testing it very soon.

Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat milk: This was my very first bottle of dry shampoo ever. Everyone and their aunties are talking about dry shampoo. Dry shampoo has been around for years, but I guess it has become more and more trendy lately. I only use it for "desperate situations". My hair is almost never in such a situation, that is why this bottle, which I bought one year ago (!) has only finished now. I used it about 5 times in one year. The first one being when my baby was a newborn, and the last one was last week when the whole family was infected with a virus and mummy had no time to wash her hair. Does it work? Yep. It makes hair look less dirty and gives a bit of volume. Do I love it? Nope. I love my hair freshly washed and shiny. Could I live without it? yes! in fact I have. Would I repurchase or recommend it? Yes. It is definitely one of those things you need to have at home and you hope you'd never had to use, like a first aid kit.
Klorane Anti-hair loss strengthening serum: This little 125ml bottle saved my hair. Litterally. I probably should (and will) write a review on this alone, together with my hair-loss story, but for the time being I only have great things to say about it, and if a friend was noticing a hair loss, I would without hesitation get her one of these. It smells like horrible herbal medicine, but it works! (kissin it right now).
Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire Eau Fraîche: I have declared my love for this fragrance here. There is no point in going on and on about it, because I love it and I hope Guerlain will re-edit this fragrance for a long time. I am so sad this one finished :( In the present state of my finances I can't repurchase it. Especially because I have many other scents and I can't rationally justify repurchasing it. So I decided to include it here like a "tribute" lol. Farewell my beloved Robe pétales! See you again when my wallet allows me!

Well, there weren't as many products as usual, but I guess I had a lot to say about them! I'm sorry for the long post! What products have you finished lately? Are you familiar with any of the products of my list? Don't be shy and let me know your opinion in the comments!
Love,
Nati
