There are two kinds of shops were I could definitely wander for hours and get lost in every detail: a makeup store and a stationary. There is one  particular item I am addicted to fond of: notebooks! Small notebooks, pocket size, cute notepads and mini diaries, they seem to all want to come home with me whenever I visit a stationary shop. When I discovered Born Pretty Store also carried cute stationary items, I couldn't resist and finally got this cute Mini Smiley Diary.



Why on Earth would you still use a paper notebook in the 21st century, Natalia? Oh, don't worry, I have a smartphone and all the technology I need, but I still love handwriting, doodling and why not drawing? But above all, I am a serial list maker. I write lists for anything and everything! And I do it Everywhere too! Ideas, come to my mind, while travelling, while waiting for the bus or when I'm simply chilling on my sofa, and there is nothing better for me to develop one idea than writing it down.

The Mini Smiley Diary is super cute and has a lot of fancy details. Its cover is made out of synthetic material with the faux-leather aspect which has a cute smiley-emoji carved on along with the phrase "Show your smile", how cute is that?  It comes in 8 cheerful (random) colours and it has a practical elastic band in a coordinated colour. Also the first and last pages have the loveliest flower print. Unfortunately, you cannot choose the colour, they are sent to you randomly.



The notebook has 5 sets of 18 pages each, 3 of them are off-white lined paper and two other plain pink and mint green coloured paper. The sets of pages are sewed instead of stapled, which makes it more flexible and long-lasting.




The coloured pages are made or thicker paper which is great specially if you like drawing, for example. The lined pages have a super cute smiley stamped on one angle and the phrase "If you laugh tomorrow will be fun" on the other.
