Polished Polyglot

I'm a total sucker for stationary, in general. When I enter a stationary shop, my little eyes gleam with rainbow glitter! I can't help it, all those colours and small items that are already pretty themselves, but in addition, they are meant for creative activities! When I was young, I used to do a lot of creative manual activities, I draw, paint, make collages, so I always found something useful in the stationary shops. Nowadays, I don't longer paint or draw, but my main "creative" activity is decorating my planner. For many years I kept a regular planner, to keep track of my activities, appointments and notes, but it wasn't a creative outlet. A few years ago I discovered Happy Planner, which is not only incredibly customizable for your own needs, but also allows for some entertaining creativity to happen.

I bought my planner in 2016, and since then I only keep adding months to the same planner. Today, I'd like to show you some decorative (but also useful) stickers and accessories for my planner that I bought recently from MAMBI.

Only one week for the official start of the summer, wii! Of course that means that I am allowed to daydream about our next summer vacation (which are already booked by the way!). What about you? Any nice plans for this summer?

Hello Sweeties! Happy humpday! How is your week like so far?
Today is my baby girl second birthday and I can't stop thinking, when did she grow up this much? I went to pick her up to daycare yesterday and, from afar, I recognized her climbing up the slide and sliding all by herself, she looked so much taller from afar than what it seems when I cuddle her, and suddenly realized she's no longer a baby. She's slowly turning into a girl, she's so tall, she walks and runs at ease and she starts making more complex phrases and dialogs, definitely no longer a baby. This fills my heart with mixed feelings so it won't be surprising that a tear or two will drop when she blows her candles! Of course, I'll be making her favorite strawberry cheesecake with chocolate biscuits (stay tuned on my Instagram Stories to see that recipe!) so that'll cheer me up already :P

Watches are quite important for me, they are both a fashion accessory and a little piece of engineering, which is exactly what makes them so fascinating to my eye. I own a very eclectic ensemble of time pieces, a small watches collection I have amassed through my life, where each piece has a special meaning. Would you like to see it?

Bohemian glass. I remember my granny, who wasn't a wealthy person, being so proud of owning a set of wine glasses from Bohemia. Now that she's gone, the glasses remain to remind me of her. Grannies teach us so many things! Bohemia was a region (now belonging to the Czech Republic) known for producing the highest quality handmade glass in the world. Those were of course quite expensive, so owning some pieces was such a privilege! What do you think my granny would say seeing my brand new collection of Mont-Bleu glass files and accessories from Prague!! I'm sure she would have been enchanted just as I am (and would have wanted a couple for herself, lol).

Hello, sweeties! How are you?
It was kind of an unusual day yesterday because my boy stayed at home with me. He started school on Monday and on his second day... he broke his arm!! He got a brand new blue cast and the recommendation to stay quiet. The poor thing is so disappointed he cannot play with the other children the way he'd like to (the wild way, that is, LOL).

But, that's not what I had planned for today! Today I wanted to chat with you about False Eyelashes. I think that is definitely a trend we can no longer ignore. Whether you like it or not, falsies have taken their place in many daily beauty routines. I have tried an awesome pair of Red Cherry lashes and glue and I want to share my opinion about them with you.

I love jewellery, and have a few expensive pieces... that I NEVER wear!! I'm always afraid to lose them or ruin them (I have two small children always hanging from some part of my body). So I end up opting for affordable stuff. Yes, aaaaall the way! I can wear it daily without fear of bumping it, damaging it (yes, I'm also clumsy...) or losing it, because I know I can always replace it. You can hardly find jewelry that is more affordable than at Born Pretty Store, and with such cute designs as the Olive branch adjustable ring like the one I got!

Last year, I received the biggest, greatest, most awesome mother's day gift a woman can dream of: my baby girl was born that day! As anyone can hardly compete with that, this year I'm keeping it low profile, and my wishlist has only items from $5 to $30. I thought to share it with you, in case you haven't found the gift for your mom yet!
