Hello, sweeties! Happy hump day!
I hope you are having a great week so far :) You know how much I like holo nail polish for this season, but there is still another kind of polish that looks great with sunlight, that is metallic chrome polishes! Born Pretty Store has recently launched the Metal Series polish and I have two of them to show you today!

I have got two polishes from the recent Born Pretty launch, on is Metal Series B502 "Silver Sword" nail polish, which is a lovely silver shade that has an awesome chromed finished and it is super shiny on the sun. the other is Metal Series B503 Dragon knight , which is a lovely muted gold which is neither too yellow/warm or too cold of a tone so it will suit many skin tones.

At first, I applied these two polishes over a basecoat and it didn't work very well, It ended up needing two coats to look completely smooth. It worked so much better when I skipped the basecoat, it really spread and levelled out smoothly leaving a perfectly smooth and mirror like surface! So amazing!
I definitely recommend using it without base coat or topcoat.

The polishes dry fairly fast (as many metallic polishes) and although it may seemed like you applied a thick coat while the polish is wet, it turns into a very thin coat as it dries. It is awesome! That makes it also very long lasting, as it really adheres to the nail. I've painted my nails on Sunday and by Wednesday, they're still looking chip-free even without a topcoat.

I love both these polishes and I got them because they are very versatile for nail art and also EXCELLENT for stamping ♥
