Hello, Lovelies! Happy Sunday!
We just had a family brunch and I made a massive amount of pancakes because everyone loves them :P It was smowing outside and it was so pleasant to enjoy a meal without stress and filled with laughs. The rest of the day we'll have a (well deserved) rest and I will blog a little. What about you? What do you enjoy doing in winter Sundays?
Today I'd like to talk you about one of my favourite products, this is a makeup setting Spray from the brand Skindinavia. Keep reading to find out why I like it so much!

I've been planning to write this post for ages! The proof is here: the photos below were taken before Christmas! I was planning to write this mid-December, but I kept putting it off and here it is!

Makeup setting sprays are quite a new thing for me. I've only starte using them a few years ago. The first makeup spray I ever tried was "All nighter" by Urban Decay (which is also manufactured by Skindinavia, by the way). I introduced the setting spray in my makeup routine around the end 2014. I got a mini size of the Urban Decay spray in a subscription box, and I loved it! But I found it really expensive for what it was. I searched for more affordable options and tried a few drugstore brands, the one I preferred until now was LA.Girl setting spray. I've talked about it here.
However, the LA. Girl spray bottle is quite small and I finally decided to try the one by Skindinavia.

The Skindinavia Makeup Finishing Spray description says "Our weightless mist keeps your makeup looking flawless and locks in color. Helps to prevent makeup from creasing or melting, while minimizing the need for touchups. Absorbs quickly and lasts for up to 16 hours. For all skin types"
It also claims to be formulated for sensitive skin, tested for eyes (of course you HAVE TO close your eyes when applying!!). It is oil-free, paraben-free and cruelty-free.
I simply apply it on my face once I'm done with my makeup, I shake the bottle very well, then spray my face 4 times in an "X" and a "T" shape.
As you know, I have dry skin, but that doesn't mean my makeup doesn't suffer during the day, especially when it is hot or humid. But also during winter! Whenever I use this spray on my dry skin, the powdery look of my makeup disappears and I get a very natural finish. Also, I practically NEVER have to touch up my makeup before the 8-10 hour mark.
What I love the most about this spray comparing to others I've tried are the pump and the homogenous lightweight mist. Which allows me for a perfectly even application with 3 or 4 pumps. I know there are many options for setting sprays in the market, but I have settled for this one as it is so effective with so little amount that the large bottle lasts me for about 6 months doing my makeup 5 times per week. That's great, considering the Skindinavia Makeup Finishing Spray contains 236 ml.

What about you? Have you introduced a setting spray in your makeup routine? What is your favourite? Have you tried any of the Skindinavia's makeup sprays? Let me now everything in the comments!
