Hello, sweeties!
Can you believe November is almost over? Well, neither can I! Last month I skipped to show you my finished products, so this time I got quite a few... rather a LOT. I decided I'm splitting them by category and showing you today only the Body Care ones, so I don't bore you to death. There are a few very interesting products, especially moisturizers for dry skin! Ideal for the cold weather we are having. So keep reading to find out which of those I've liked and repurchase and which of them are a pass!

My "Empties" post series is consistent with my resolution of committing to consuming more responsibly. Use up the products that I bought before buying new ones, as well as evaluating what I'm using by reviewing it and deciding whether to repurchase or not. By the way, helping you decide on your own purchase.

Apivita Royal Honey Rich Moisturizing Body Cream

This rich body cream by the Greek brand Apivita is my holy grail when my skin is in need of extra moisture. It is free of parabens, silicones, mineral oil, propylene glycol, ethanolamine, phthalates, PCM and NM. It contains several emollient agents, vegetal oils, shea butter, cacao butter, olive oil, sweet almond oil, sunflower oil, beeswax, Aloe vera, castor oil, honey and orange peel oil, and it smells so divinely of honey! I can't go through the winter without it. Despite it being very rich and moisturizing, it sinks in the skin very quickly and the effect lasts all day! The only down side is that it has become very difficult to find it here in Switzerland (or anywhere else) I start suspecting this cream has been discontinued :(

The Body Shop Frosted Plum Sugar Scrub

I had this exfoliant since the past year's holidays edition, oooops. I somehow forgot aout it and it was never opened! Well, I took it with me in my recent trips as it is a small size, thus ideal for travelling, and I must say it was a pure delight! It leaves my skin super soft, smelling divinely! I forgot how good some body scrubs from this brand could be. I decided to pick up another one this year.

Tony Moly Peach Anti-aging Hand Cream

This hand cream contains extracts of peach and apricot, which makes it a whitening product. Besides, it contains adenosine, an anti-wrinkle ingredient. It gives hands sufficient nutrients, diminishes wrinkles of hands and makes hands elastic again. This is a lightweight cream, that sinks in fast and leaves hands feeling silky, so it's great for using any time of the day, unlike other richer hand creams I own. It has nice smell, although a bit overpowering at first, it fades in a few minutes and I can only feel it if I take my hands close to my nose. Other than that, I haven't notice any anti-ageing effect on my hands, so there is that. I won't repurchase it.

Korres Japanese Rose Shower Gel

This product formulated without mineral oils, paraffin wax, silicones, parabens, PEG, synthetic dye, phthalates or animal-derived ingredients. It is cruelty-free and vegan-friendly.
This is a very creamy shower gel, that cleanses the skin gently and does not leave a dry feeling to my skin after the shower. It also smells of a divinely, a sweet flowery scent that I cannot quite define. It is definitely not roses. I have no idea of how Japanese Roses are supposed to smell like, but if they smell like this shower gel, then they smell marvellous!
I was very happy with this product, I had already tested another of Korres shower gels, they are very affordable and currently on offer at lookfantastic.com (buy on get one free), so I have just ordered two more!!

Biolis Nature Aloe Shower Gel

I have tried shampoo and hair care from this Italian brand and I have a divided opinion. I LOVE some of their products and HATE some of them too. In my cosmetics Haul in Italy last summer, I also picked this Shower Gel with Aloe.  It claims to be delicate and ideal for frequent use. I find it to be quite delicate indeed, it leaves my skin feeling soft nor dry and with a fresh Aloe scent. The product is formulated with aloe vera, sweet almond oil, hazelnut oil and olive oil. This shower gel does not contain silicones, parabens, dyes, preservatives or petrol derivatives. It is also vegan-friendly and produced within a program with low CO2 emissions. It is very gentle and smells divine and quite budget friendly! I will definitely repurchase it.

Equilibra Fluid Body Lotion with Argan
This brand has called my attention when I was in Italy, shopping for body care products. It is actually fairly new, but reading the good ingredients and the very low price point (I paid under 3€for this 200ml body lotion) I decided to give it a try. I was very happy I did! It has sweet almond oil, vegetal glycerin, vitamin E and Argan oil. This body lotion does not contain silicones, parabens, dyes, preservatives or petrol derivatives. I must say my skin loves anything with Argan oil in it, so this cream is not an exception! It is moisturizing but not greasy, it sinks in quite quickly. I don't find it so "fluid" though, but that's ok. I really liked it! I used it during the warm month of August and September and my skin was the softest ever. I was very happy with my discovery this is one I will repurchase in my next visit to Italy.

Biotherm Biomains
Biomains, which claims to be age delaying hand and nail treatment, is a hand cream that I always come back to (whenever it is on sale). This tube of 100ml retails for about 28 USD, which is absolutely crazy considering how fast I go through hand lotions! But I must admit I purchase a tube twice or three times per year, I keep it on my nightstand and use it once per day, before going to sleep. So the ingredients have plenty of time to work their magic on my skin, lol. During the day I reach out for whatever budget friendly hand lotion I have at hand (I have many opened, LOL) because I wash my hands so often that it would be a pity to apply this fancy product and then wash it off half an hour later!
Biomains leaves my hands very soft and smooth, totally hydrated and looking great. So I will definitely repurchase it.

I hope these mini-reviews have been somehow useful to you. I am happy that I am sticking to my resolution of reviewing the products I use up this year as well. By the way, you can check here a list with all my "Empties" post for the year 2018 and click through if you please. I think this will be my last on for this year, because I'll be spending the holidays in my home country with my family, so the next edition of "products I've used up" will be in January 2019.

Do not hesitate to leave me a comment or a question if you need more information or if you have suggestions for me!

Love,
Nati
