Hello, lovelies!
April has been lovely so far, but it is almost finished!! That means it is already time for a new edition of my "shopping my stashchallenge!
This monthly challenge goes along the lines of "low buy", "no buy" and/or "shop your stash" projects, if you do something similar for yourself, you are of course invited to share your own experience! During the month of April I'vechosen to use only one shadow palette (put aside other makeup challenges) by
Dior the super sophisticated "Atlantique" quint, which was a limited edition but such a beautiful piece!

I used to "COLLECT" makeup. I was a makeup collector. Now my approach to makeup changed and I find more pleasure to create looks than to own rare pieces. So, am I now a "makeup creator"? As my approach changes, I decided to write a series of posts that would allow me to commit to "Shopping my stash", which means going through products I own instead of buying new ones. I have decided that each month I would pick an eyeshadow quad or quint from my collection and use it during the whole month. The month of April 2019 I've been playing with my old Dior Quint Eyeshadow "Atlantique" and today I share with you one of the looks I came up with.

Dior  "Atlantique"

This quint "Atlantique"by Dior, was a very limited edition for Summer called "Transat Edition" issued in 2014. It contains 5 beautiful colours with silky, satin finish powder shadows. The colours are three shades of blue (a lighter, a medium and a darker one) a glittery white silver and a warm brown. The palette is so special and unique. I love the quality of the colours, which are very intense and allow for soft or intense application, delivering such a silky finish!! Take a look at one of the closeups, these shadows make my eyelids appear smoother!! What's the magic??
This is a palette of great quality that still delivers after all these years, it has an awesome pigmentation, but it is very easy to use and blend. So it is definitely a keeper and I will continue to cherish and use it!

As usual, I am not trying to encourage you to buy anything with this post, more trying to INSPIRE you to use more what you already have, buy less and even getting rid of some of your possesions!

My "Sky blue toned Makeup" Look

For this look I used:

Urban Decay Primer Potion Anti-Age

The luminous blue shades in this palette were the perfect choice for the month of April! I used this palette almost every day, especially the brown and light blue shades. They have been my go-to colours to compliment red lipstick. I haven't worn the dark blue much, I wasn't feeling the smokey eyes look a lot, but I did use it a little bit for today's bold look. Despite that, this is a palette I'd like to keep and wear often!
Do you have any item in your makeup stash that you've forgotten about and eventually decided to get rid of?

Don't hesitate to leave me a comment!

Love,
Nati
