Hello, lovelies! Happy Monday!
We are heading right into Easter and I can't believe it. The time passes too quickly! I have the impression Mardi Gras was just yesterday. Some people find the lockdown or social distancing are giving them the impression of super long days. In my case, I feel I have not enough time! More precisely, not enough "ME" time.
Kids are 24/7 at home, demanding, attention, food, etc. It's like having three newborns again! hahaha. I try to be positive but I do miss to take time just for me. When I work out, they are there, when I'm taking a shower, they are there; when I'm trying to take care of my skin/hair, they are there! If you are an old visitor, you know how much I love playing with makeup and doing bold looks. These days when I'm not leaving the house, I don't do my makeup anymore, but I really miss it. So, last week I decided I was going to create a look just for FUN, I grabbed my BH Cosmetics Zodiac LOVE SIGNS* palette to create a look in Orange and gold for the Monday Shadow Challenge and I am so happy I did. Today's prompt is "Flowers" and I used my favourite colours for this BOLD nail art. these are the colours that cheer me up and I thought we could use a little "extra factor" in the present situation we are living with the coronavirus. What strange times we are living all over the world right now! The situation is preoccupying with the Corona Virus and the confinement quite difficult to put up with. In total honesty, I'm personally a bit overwhelmed with all the changes that suppose having the children suddenly home-schooled, the hubby suddenly home-officed, not being able to do my sport outdoors, basically not leaving the house at all and trying to keep a cheery mood! Well, I mean having zero time or space for myself is difficult. I know it may sound so banal, but I really cherish the rare minutes I can spend taking care of myself a bit and my skincare routine is important to me for that matter.
So today, to change our ideas, we'll be talking skincare! More precisely, about a marvellous multipurpose scented oil, which is an olfactive experience that will transport you to a flowery field. I'm going to be straightforward with you and tell you from the beginning that home decoration and home improvements have never been my thing. I'm really horrible at it!
That being said, towards the end of 2019, I reached a high level of discomfort with our living space and I decided to challenge myself and try to improve my home a little.

Today I'm opening a brand new section on my blog to somehow document my "learning" through Home improvement, decoration and organization. Hoping that in one year from now I'll be looking at my pictures of today feeling that I've improved a lot!

I'll start showing you our living room and what small changes we've introduced to make it feel more spacious functional and decluttered. I hope you like it!

Here I am again on a Thursday instead of a Friday, because tomorrow it's my eldest's birthday! Yes, my sweet boy is turning 8 and this mum can't even believe it yet! I'm currently in the making of his cake and thought to keep this post short and sweet so I can go back to the preparatives for his party tomorrow.

Hello, my lovelies! Happy Thursday!

I'm posting on a Thursday rather than a Friday, because tomorrow as it is Valentine's Day and the hubby and I have plans of spending the afternoon, evening and night in a romantic escapade! We are not going far, in fact just a few kilometres from home, but enough to forget the daily routine and have some time for our couple. I'm so excited about it!!

Are you planning anything for Valentine's day? I know a lot of people don't care for this holiday in Europe, even us when we were younger we did not pay much attention to it. But after 22 years together (of which 16 years of marriage), you definitely need to seize every occasion to escape the routine, if you know what I mean!

I have no idea what I will wear tomorrow or what I'll pack in my bag, I'm not too worried about it, haha, but I definitely know what I will wear on my nails! LOL!
