LOTW: Chanel Glossimer #166 Amour

Today another of my addictive pout products is ready to be shown off! This week Chanel has been chosen again, but this time it is a Glossimer, a total classic!  Chanel Glossimer #166 Amour ♥♥♥ Colour and name appropriate for Valentine's day too :)

My love for Chanel makeup was born years ago thanks to a lip gloss (but that could be material for another whole post). I am a lipgloss girl at heart and  Chanel Glossimer #166 Amour is a classic and gorgeous shade from the Chanel range.

Glossimers are among the best lipgloss I have tried, the formula is always very good and  #166 Amour is not an exception. It is a lovely light peachy pink with subtle microshimmer. Sparkly and beautiful *sighs*.

It is semi-sheer but the colour shows nicely on my rather pigmented lips. It doesn't feel sticky and it is lightweight on the lips. Besides, glossy lip products have that extra factor of making the lips look slightly fuller because of the reflection of the light.

This shade is romantic, sweet and young, perfect for everyday or for complimenting a look focused on the eyes. Another serious candidate for the Valentine's day makeup!

I'm wearing #166 Amour with an everyday appropriate makeup look (using mostly products from my winter challenge) and I find the pink in it illuminates my complexion.

Other products used on this look:

- Dior Hydra Life BB Eye Cream
- Vichy Dermablend Corrective stick Nude 25
YSL Le teint Encre de Peau BD40
- ELF High Definition Powder
- Guerlain Crazy Terracotta
- Chanel Quadra eye shadow 08 Vanités
- ELF cream eyeliner violet
- Dolce & Gabbana Passion eyes mascara

What do you think of this lippy? Which lip colour have you been reaching for lately? What are you more likely to wear on your lips for a Valentine's date: a rich lipstick or a light lipgloss? I'm a curious cat, please let me know!!

Love,
Nati
