Hello, beauties!
I'm one day late for the Monday Shadow Challenge, on Saturday our wireless router broke, so I only had the minimum Internet availability until today. Things that happen!

The"Monday Shadow Challenge" is always trying to make us think out of the box and today challenge is to create an Autumn look using "pale rose and sunflower yellow". I must admit it was difficult to find an idea but in the end I really loved this combo!

- Catrice HD Liquid coverage Foundation #010 Light Beige
Givenchy Croisière Healthy Glow Powder #2Douce Croisière

Lips/Lèvres:

 How I did it

As soon as I knew the colours were yellow and rose, two colours that usually evoke spring, I knew my challenge was going to be making them work for a Fall-ish kind of look. I decided that I was going to create a soft look a kind of "rose-nude" with a touch of yellow, and see if in the end it looked more like a spring look or not.

For my eye makeup, I only used the colours in the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette and a yellow single eyeshadow from Chanel. I started working my crease with the shade "Limit" which is a gorgeous pale rose, perfect as a transition colour for my complexion. I defined my crease further using the colour "Nooner". Then I applied the shades "Limit" and "Burnout" to the center of my mobile eyelid and the shade "Strange" to illuminate my eyebrow bone and the inner corners of my eyes. I applied the yellow eyeshadow to my lower lash line and I used a khaki doré eyeliner. Finally I applied  mascara generously.

On the face, I used a bronzer by Givenchy, and blusher by Essence and the beautiful highlighter by Wetnwild. On the lips, I used a wonderful lip pencil by Catrice and on top I dabbed a beautiful lipstick by Dior.

I admit my final look is very soft and although it doesn't scream "Autumn" I don't think is totally inappropriate for the season. What do you think? What a soft makeup for Fall should look like?
Now, I invite you to go check the creations of my challenge mates on the Facebook page of the challenge.

Love,
Nati
