Hello lovelies! How are you doing today? I'm so thrilled with the challenges this weeks, this really feels like vacation, though I've not left yet.
Today's Vintage Challenge is green, this was a very difficult choice, I have all kinds of "oldie" greens. But I decided the question practically. I have not chosen any of my all time favourites, but one I have never tried..., this must be my oldest untried polish, but it is a pretty green anyway!
This is American Apparel Hunter, It was released in December 2009 and I got it right after, because that was the moment I started collecting nail polish, and not just buying a polish to wear.
Hunter is a Hunter green creme, with a very nice formula, not very glossy on its own, but definitely lovely and wearable.
So I guess I'll get the chance one day to show you the other great oldie greens in my stash.
Don't forget to check the lovelies in this Vintage challenge!
Love,
Nati
Ooh, I love this shade of green!
ReplyDeleteThanky for reading Aglaya! :)
DeleteSpettacolare!
DeleteWell, I love green so it's no surprise that I like this mani :-D
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you like it Melissa! Seems that muted greens and khaki will be back next fall!
DeleteSalut Nati - I could have bet that you come up with something totally elegant and classy!! I find those dark hunter greens very sophisticated and you pull it off perfectly - I also enjoy the thrill of the Challenge, a very new experience to me, it is the first I ever participate in!!! Every day I am so exited to find out what everybody is showing, it's really, really fun - bisous xxxx
ReplyDeleteSalut Christine! Thank you sweetie for your comment!
DeleteQue verde tan interesante
ReplyDeleteSi es oscuro sin ser de esos que parecen negro.
DeleteAhh, gorgeous! This is one of my fave polishes ever!
ReplyDeleteThank you for reading purple rain
DeleteThis is a beautiful green...I'm glad you pulled it out of your untrieds! ;)
ReplyDeleteHi Melissa! me too I'm glad, now my "untried list" has one off!
DeleteLove it; something about a nice hunter green cream is so chic. It reminds me a bit of OPI's Jade Is The New Black, but I think this one might be darker. I seriously need to work on using my untrieds; they are overwhelming my nail room!
ReplyDeleteHi Kelly, thank you for reading! Yes, it's quite darker than JITNB and a tad bluer as well.
Deleteso you won't be shocked if I told you my untrieds are exactly 127 to this date?
JUST wonderful! What an endearing forest green! Might sound weird but this is fairytale green to me! Also I think it flatters your skin perfectly :) xx
ReplyDeleteThank you Ithi, I'm glad you like it.
DeleteI'm a fan of hunter greens !! Love this shade :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for reading and commenting Vicky!
DeleteCiao Nati! This is a stunning hunting green! This is definitely my cup of tea! I love those dark greens. I bet it would look even more stunning with a coat of SV on it! I can't believe you've had this gem untried for almost four years?!?! ;) Baci! xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful green! I can't believe that you left it untried for so long! :-)
