Hello my lovelies! Have you already everything planned out for the Holidays? or you'll go with the flow?
If you know me a little you might have guessed I've also been thinking what to wear, and OF COURSE, what makeup look to sport. As metallics have been going strong lately I thought I'd go all Silver and GOLD! Yay! I know, if you're more of a low makeup profile you might be thinking: "I'll never put gold on my eyelids and gosh forbid the silver and me ending up looking like an 80's bombshell of frostiness! "
But I think the latest metallic trend is so appropriate for parties, night outs, balls, and all kinds of event we usually have at this time of the year. I have not less than six different suggestions for Holidays metallic makeup looks! I've prepared 2 mega-dense posts one for silver and one for gold, with three different looks each! Today is Silver-y looks turn. I hope you enjoy :)

Look n°2: Iridiscent silver
A cool shade of silver, without harsh lines, to compliment bright red lips. I've paired it with Essie Madmoiselle on the nails. If you got Dior Golden Snow palette, this is a suggestion for using the middle shade. I'm using a more affordable colour here.
For this look I used:
Eyes:
- NYX Above and beyond full coverage concealer in 04Beige
- NYX Jumbo eye pencil 603 Pots and pans
- BH Cosmetics Hollywood palette: silver and glittery black
- NYX Eye/eyebrow pencil 919 Gray
- NYX Doll eye Mascara Volume
Face:
- NYX Above and beyond full coverage concealer in 04Beige
- MAC Pro long wear foundation NC20
- Benefit Hello flawless compact powder Beige
- BH Hollywood palette: highlighter and light pink blush
Lips:
- Dior Rouge 863 Rouge vedette

Look n°3 : Gunmetal boldness
For this look I threw all in! Bold eyes and strong wine lip, if you have false eylashes, which I didn't, they would be perfect for this look. This is what the lovely Karen from Makeup and Beauty blog would call "drag queen level makeup" haha! I don't care, it's bold and I love it! I've paired it with Essie's For the twill of it on the nailsEyes:
- NYX Above and beyond full coverage concealer in 04Beige
- Essence Stay all day 04 Stars and Stories
- Catrice Spectaculart pure chrome eyeshadow C02 Bombay Bauble
- Catrice Spectaculart pure chrome eyeshadow C03 Trasure it
- Black eyeshadow from Chanel Premier régard Quad
- NYX Gel liner and Smudger 01 Jet black
- NYX Retractable eye liner waterproof MPE02 Black
- NYX Doll eye Mascara Volume
Face:
- NYX Above and beyond full coverage concealer in 04Beige
- MAC Pro long wear foundation NC20
- Benefit Hello flawless compact powder Beige
- Too faced Leopard love blusher
Lips
- NYX Jumbo lip pencil 715 Burgundy

ReplyDeleteTodos están bonitos,
Deleteme gusta más el tercero por el labial que es un rojo oscuro muy bello.
Same here, I have it all planned out! No going with no flowing for me! :-) I love the looks you showed us today, especially the first one. I love a little khaki!
ReplyDeleteall these looks are fab but I love the last one, I love going all out with dark eyes and wine lips..festive and dramatic, I love it (and for the record I wouldn't call it drag makeup at all) xx
ReplyDeleteSalut Nati, great post and I love the slide shows, very helpful and showing off the colors and your wonderful skills excellently. I like all of them - however I think with me it will be as every year: no plans what to paint and in the end running out of time - LOL, I therefore splurged on the antique gold mascara from Chanel to at least be able to add some juice last minute ;-) Bisous xxx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! :-) My favourite look is Gunmetal boldness :-)
