Hello, lovelies! Happy Monday!
How was your first week of the year 2019? While most people are already working on their resolutions, new lifestyles, diets and working out programs... I'm still on vacation! Oops!⠀
I really needed this family overload time (that in my country comes also together with a food overload, lol!) in the past two weeks we have had dinner parties, pizza parties, BBQ parties, poolside parties and all kind of parties which involved much chatting, laughs, hugs, children running and shouting, and much eating, hahaha, it's always about the food, right?⠀
December went too fast for me to be able to share with you the last edition of my "shopping my stash" challenge in 2018. So technically this post still belongs to last year's challenge. I've been using my old and beautiful Dior "Golden shock #756", a quint with very chic mauve and plums and a touch of gold.

Today the "Nail Crazies Unite" nail art Challenge prompted us to create "Ribbon/ Bows" themed manicures, I thought it would be nice to give it a Christmas theme to it, what do you think? I created this design using matte red polish and all the cliches images for the Season! I hope you like it!

Happy Friday, lovelies!
I hope your week was nice and easy. Mine was a bit more complicated than I wished for, but nothing major really. Early this week, my blog decided to stop loading, I made a few emergency changes, but there are some really annoying consequences that make me want to change platform. Blogger is really bugging me. That'll be a resolution for next year, migrating my ginormous blog to Wordpress. I'm working on getting a new template, a new design for the blog very soon! In the meantime, I'm happy the comment section is up and running again, after 4 days without it. So if you have left a comment in those days, it is unfortunately lost now :(
Other than that, life has been really sweet to me, I have the most wonderful kids (every mom thinks that, bear with me), hubby has been in his semiannual "World Tour" haha, he's been travelling for business to Mexico, the US and Canada, so we haven't seen him in a while, but he'll be back this afternoon, and we are sooooo excited!
In other news, we have a very bright future ahead! Tomorrow, Saturday, my 3-year-old daughter will attend her mate's Birthday party, it is the first time she gets invited anywhere and we are so thrilled! My baby has a social life of her own! Awww...
Sunday 9th is my birthday and I'm eager to turn 39, it's my last year of this decade and I'll be sure to enjoy it before I hit 40. I have so many plans for this year!
Also, in a few more days, we'll be heading to Argentina, my home country! I can't tell you how excited I am about it, I haven't seen my brother, my sister and their families in two years! I have a one-year-old niece that I've never met personally! I've seen my parents for the last time in the Spring of 2017, my son has grown 15cm since then.
Life is happening so fast right now, you couldn't believe, we have quite a lot on our plates, Christmas recitals in the school and daycare, parents' meeting at the school, Church reunion for Christmas, preparatives for our trip to Argentina, plus all the usual life things of work, house chores (I have so much laundry to fold I have baptized my pile as the "Himalaya"), sport, homework, blogging, etc. So I'm taking it easy, I want to enjoy all the things and not rushing crazily through it, after all, life is very short, isn't it?
Well, you see? I just wrote a book, LOL. But that's why I write so frequently! I prefer to keep it short (believe me I've been very succinct above) if I could I'd write a post daily, but then, I have a life too, haha.
Let's get into this week's nail art, shall we? The Facebook Groups "When Colors Collide" prompted us to create manicures using the following colours "Purple, Gold and White", here is what I came up with! I hope you like it :)

While you're reading this, we are out for a walk with my baby and hubby, enjoying a little our time together. I hope the pictures will show today, because my yesterday's slideshows were not showing and I can't find the way to make them appear through blogger. Yesterday I gave up and removed my post when I got home, now it's waiting in the drafts until I find a way to make it work. Blogger is not making my life easier these days, I assure you.

If you know me a little you might have guessed I've also been thinking what to wear, and OF COURSE, what makeup look to sport. As metallics have been going strong lately I thought I'd go all Silver and GOLD! Yay! I know, if you're more of a low makeup profile you might be thinking: "I'll never put gold on my eyelids and gosh forbid the silver and me ending up looking like an 80's bombshell of frostiness! "
But I think the latest metallic trend is so appropriate for parties, night outs, balls, and all kinds of event we usually have at this time of the year. Eyeshadow love: Chanel Illusion d'ombre 837 Fatal & EOTD
I have been playing with my recent purchases at Chanel's counter. I was very hesitant whether buy the new 5 colour palette, and the rest of the collection, but I was sure and certain this little guy would come home wiht me. This is Chanel Illusion d'ombre 837 Fatal and it is a gorgeous, sublime, plum shade with red undertones and the most beautiful microshimmer ever.

Hello lovelies! How are you today?
This is day 28 of the 33DC Challenge and as the prompt is "Lines" that would be the perfect occasion to test the Candy Color Shimmer Metal Liner that Born Pretty Store sent me for review.
Let me tell you how many nail polish liners I own: check this post. And that's only NYX liners, I also have 12 LA colours and some of other brands. So you may think, why do I choose to review yet another liner? BECAUSE, I can't seem to find a decent gold or silver metallic liner! They are too sheer, too gloppy or too glittery, or just hell to apply. I was very intrigued to test this one, and was pleasantly surprised.
New Essence Happy Holidays Trend Edition Swatches and review
Hello my lovelies! I have some exciting news to share with you, is the New Essence Trend Edition for Holidays! It's named "Happy Holidays" and it features several nail art related products, along with three eyeshadows blushes, lippies, false eyelashes and a hair accessory. You can see the whole collection here.
I've spotted this one at Manor, but I'm pretty sure it is already available at Coop and Müller as well.
I've only picked 2 of the 4 available Colour3 nail polishes, the fimo decorations and the glittery topcoat. Today, I'm going to show you swatches of the nail polishes, because I just couldn't wait to have all together to share with you. The decorations and the topcoat will follow!
Nail Art for Holidays: New Years eve look!
Hi Darlings! All set for partying the night (and the year) away??!!
I'm very excited about this evening, because I get to wear a new summer dress (all simple but cute little black dress). I know that might sound very frivolous, but if you follow me since the beginning you might have red that when I became a mum, I gained weight and stayed away from the beauty world. When I became pregnant I stopped doing my nails and buying nail polish, dressing up femininely, wearing accessories were put aside. I don't know why!! I just did. I only re-started painting my nails when my baby was 6 months old. It's been very long since I last wore a pretty dress, so it's quite an event. I've worn one for my son's baptism in May, but I lost 5kg since then and I feel better with myself (still have some more kg to loose, but that starts tomorrow with the good 2013 resolutions, lol!)
