Happy Friday, lovelies!
The last Friday of the year and my last nail art of the year for the "Nail Crazies Unite" challenge couldn't fail. For today we created manicures with "Fireworks" theme. I hope you like it!

In this manicure I wanted to show you the FOUR ways I know to create a fireworks manicure, that's why you can see the nail art is a little charged here, I left one finger with solid colour when normally I would have left two fingers, but I really wanted to show you the four techniques.

Technique #1

You can see this technique on my pointer fingernail. This is done by the following steps
1) I created a concentric gradient with a sponge and three colours: Purple, orange and Yellow.
2) Once the gradient is dry, I stamped on top of it using fireworks images (like the Born Pretty Store plate on the picture below) using a silver stamping polish.
3) Seal the desing with glossy top coat. That's it!

Technique #2

You can see this technique on my thumb fingernails. This is done by the following steps:
1) I created a concentric gradient with a sponge and three colours: Purple, orange and Yellow. (exactly like technique #1)
2) Once the gradient is dry, I stamped on top of it using REVERSED fireworks images (like the Beauty Big Bang plate on the picture below) using a BLACK stamping polish. The difference will be that instead of stamping the fireworks explosion, you'll be stamping the black background so that your fireworks will have the colour of the polish you've put beneath.
3) To give more sparkle and dimension to the design, add on top some regular fireworks stamps using silver polish (like step 2 of Technique #1)
4) Seal the design with a glossy top coat.

Technique #3

You can see this technique on my middle fingernail. This is done by the following steps
Repeat steps 1-2-3 of technique #2 but add some colour dots with a very thin brush for a more realistic effect. In this case, I've added orange dots.
4) Seal the design with glossy top coat.

Technique #4

You can see this technique on my ring fingernail. This is done by the following steps
1) I painted my nail with two/three coats of a sparkling or holographic silver nail polish. (Like the one I used on my pinky fingernail)
2) Once the polis is dry, I stamped on top of it using REVERSED fireworks images (like the Beauty Big Bang plate on the picture below) using a BLACK stamping polish. The result will be, a black backgrounf with very sparkly fireworks images.
3) To add some colour add on top some regular fireworks stamps using coloured polish, In this case I used yellow and orange.
4) Seal the design with glossy top coat.

There is only little difference in the different techniques result, it all depends on what seems easier to you and what kind of image plate you own: regular or reversed.

These are the products and Items I used: (you don't need all the items for every technique!)

*BeautyBigBang store have kindly gifted me a whole lot of their recently launched products for the Holidays. Including new stamping plates. Thank you!

I hope you've liked my different techniques of Fireworks nails!!  Don't forget to pay a visit to my challenge mates for more "fireworks" inspired manicures! You can find their creations in the link up down below.

I am planning a short post on Monday for the last day of the year, but just in case that wouldn't work, I want to thank you for reading my blog all this year, for your support, your comments and messages that make my day everyday.

I wish you all the best for the year 2019!!

Love,
Nati
