Hello, my lovelies! How is your week so far?
I've been having a weird week, my Spring allergies have begun, I have a cold and my period is about to start, I've been feeling exhausted! I mean not only tired, I think "tired" is the definition of my normality. This week was different, most days I'm struggling to keep my eyes open past noon, it's been horrible and I couldn't get anything done. My list of to do keeps growing! But, As we are on the very last day of  February, I thought my post on the products I've used up recently couldn't wait any longer. Today, I'll focus on hair and body care products, I hope you find this one useful.

My "Empties" post series is consistent with my resolution of committing to consuming more responsibly. Use up the products that I bought before buying new ones, as well as evaluating what I'm using by reviewing it and deciding whether to repurchase or not. By the way, helping you decide on your own purchase.

Klorane Shampoo with Quinine and Vitamine B and Conditioner

Whenever I suffer from hair fall, these shampoo and conditioner are my saviours! I also use the hair serum spray from the same range, but I haven't finished that one yet!My hair fall diminishes drastically when I use the three products combined (shampoo, conditioner and Serum) and the small new hairs start growing quite fast! If hair fall is a problem of yours I definitely recommend to you trying this range from Klorane. You can also have a look at this post where I tell you in details my hair loss story!

La Sultane de Saba "Voyage Japonais" Lotus and Neroli Body Lotion

This fragrant body lotion was kindly gifted to me as a press sample. La Sultane de Saba is a prestigious French brand that conceives the most delicate and bewitching fragrances. The Body Lotion from the "Voyage Japonais" range is not an exception! The body lotion is fresh and very moisturizing, but it doesn't leave an oily feel to the skin, it sinks in quickly leaving the whole body skin silky and divinely perfumed. The fragrance of Lotus and Neroli is a very fresh and revitalizing floral scent that lingers the whole day.
The formula does not contain parabens and it includes sweet almond oil, shea butter and coconut oil.  Applying this luxury body lotion has been a pleasure to me, I reserved it for special days when I had the opportunity to have a little self-pampering and "me time" and it was such a lovely moment. I would love to try different ranges from the same brand so I will be definitely repurchasing this one!

La Bioteca Italiana Shower gel Bio-Almond (Mandorla Bio doccia/shampoo)
I bought this shower gel in Italy during my last vacation there. I had no idea of the brand but I was impressed that the label has less than ten ingredients! It mains ingredient is the extract of organic almonds. I must say the texture is a bit strange, not quite like a gel or a lotion, but a bit weird... it reminds me of raw egg whites. But the smell is sweet and delicate like baby shampoo, in fact, it doesn't contain any synthetic scent, only the sweet almond gives the fragrance to the whole product.
The gel is supposed to be used to cleanse the body and hair. I've only used it for my body and I loved it! It is very tender, it doesn't lather any foam, but it cleanses the skin gently leaving it soft to the touch. I think this brand is only sold in Italy so I will be buying a few more in my next trip!

Equilibra Almon nourishing Body Lotion (Mandorle Crema corpo)
This brand has called my attention when I was in Italy, shopping for body care products. It is actually fairly new, but reading the good ingredients and the very low price point (I paid under 3€for this 200ml body lotion) I decided to give it a try. I was very happy I did! It has sweet almond oil, vegetal glycerin, vitamin E and Argan oil. This body lotion does not contain alcohol, silicones, parabens, dyes, preservatives or petrol derivatives. It is moisturizing but not greasy, it sinks in quite quickly but I find it not moisturizing enough for me during winter. I had to apply twice a day if I wanted to avoid my skin feeling dry. Other than that, I think is a good product. However I have preferred the version of this cream with Argan oil, which I'm planning on repurchasing on my next trip to Italy!

Farouk CHI Royal Treatment Hydrating Shampoo

Last but not least, this sumptuous shampoo by Farouk CHI. I discovered this range last year thanks to a press sample by parfumcity.ch  and I have discussed the multiple benefits of this shampoo on a dedicated review that you can read here. I have repurchased this shampoo two times since then! It is my shampoo for special occasions! if I want to have a good day hair, this is the shampoo I go for!
I have purchased a new bottle already, but the volumizing version this time, which I prefer for the spring, this is the hydrating version which is perfect for winter!!
