NOTD | Music notes and blue roses manicure
May 20, 2016
Happy Friday sweeties! How are you today?
This will be a short post because today I am super busy at home with the children and taking care of household chores (yay Fridays...). We are already planning a great (for me) weekend. I'm not sure what we will do, because I wanted to finally go to my forever and ever postponed visit to IKEA (my wishlist has only got longer) and it results Saturday will be the only sunny day of the wee(I'm so lucky -not-).
We shall see that, in the meantime, let's take a look at my latest manicure for the "40 Great nail art ideas" challenge. This week the prompt is Music!
#HalloweenNails2015 - Nail art with Skulls
Oct 26, 2015
Hello lovelies! How are you? Have you spent a nice weekend?
This is the last week of October (already!?) and the countdown to Halloween has started. Things are getting serious!! This week The #HalloweenNails2015 Challenge is all about SKULLS. So I went and squeeze out my brain to find an original idea for Skull nail art... and well not that I succeeded completely, but this is what I came up with.
33DC - Day 23: Geometric nail art
Nov 13, 2013
Hello lovelies! How are you today?
This is day 23 of the 33 Days Challenge and the prompt for today is Geometric!
I didn't have much time when I did this manicure, so I went for a simple stamping design, nothing sophisticated I know, but I like the global effect on the nails. Simple but effective :)
33DC - Day 20: Nail art with a pattern in your wardrobe
Nov 6, 2013
Hi lovelies! How are you today?
We are already at day 20 of the 33 days Challenge, wow, does time fly or what? Today's nail art is dedicated to a pattern in my wardrobe and I thought to make houndtooth nails, based on a pair of leggings I got for Fall.

33DC - Day 18: Manicure featuring 2 patterns
Nov 1, 2013
Happy Friday my dears!
Have you had a nice Halloween? or are you celebrating on the weekend?
Day 18 of the 33 Days Challenge has arrived and the time to do a two patterned manicure. I obviously pulled out my stamping plates!
33DC - Day 14: Abstract nail art
Oct 23, 2013
Hello my lovelies, how are you today?
Day 14 of the 33 days Challenge is dedicated to Abstract nail art. I chose to go with some stamping and dots using of my favourite shades: purple, turquoise and green!
Day 7: Your oldest untried nail polish
Oct 7, 2013
Hello my dears! How has your week started?
For day 7 of the 33 Days Challenge I wore my oldest untried, that according to my records is Butter London Victoriana. I keep track of my used and untrieds, and I was sure I had already worn this once, but I search and searched and had no picture of it as a mani, I only used it once as a nail accent here. But then that does not count for me as "tried". I got this polish in December 2010, so if it's not my oldest it's pretty old I'd say!

Vintage Challenge Nail Art: stamping over Hunter
Jul 21, 2013
Hello my lovelies! I hope you've spent a wonderful weekend! The post you're reading and the post that will follow the next few days have been scheduled in advance because I'm officially on vacation. That means I'll keep posting "virtually" but I won' be able to answer your comments right away (like if I ever did, lol!).
Last Nail look for Spring: Purple butterflies
Jun 16, 2013
Yep, all I do lately is write some short posts, and upload old photos. It's kind of sad my free time is so limited I hardly find the occasion to read and comment on my favourite blogs, *sigh*.
Well, hope you'll understand, soon all this will be over and I'll have some more free time.
The Battle Challenge: #3 Battle of colour Pink vs. Purple
Nov 17, 2012
Today, I bring to you the third episode of The Battle Challenge, which is again a colour battle Pink vs. Purple.
Ok, I must say this one was a difficult one, because I love both colours very much, and couldn't make up my mind in which shades to use. I went with one of my untried pinks.
The manicure is a simple pink base with some free hand nail art using one colour. Here is what I've used: (Read more after the jump)
Nail art for Halloween: Spooky eyes
Oct 24, 2012
Hello my dears! How are you doing?
Here I am giving another try to my art nail, and today I bring you a Halloween inspirated mani: Spooky eyes!
I know the eyes I painted turned out kind of friendly, ha ha... but is my very first halloween mani and the second nail art I do ever! so be indulgent when judging ;)
In the picture above I actually like how the rhinestone reflected on my pinkie nail, quite funny.
For this mani I used:
OPI The World is not Enough (as base)
OPI The World is not Enough (as base)
Essence Eclipse Collection 01.Undead (applied with sponge technique)
Manhattan Pro French tip whitener (for the eyes)
Essence nail jewel (for the eyes)
Essence nail jewel (for the eyes)
Konad Top coat
What do you think? Don't be shy and let me know your opinion... I can take it!
Love,
Nati
