Today, I bring to you the third episode of The Battle Challenge, which is again a colour battle Pink vs. Purple.
Ok, I must say this one was a difficult one, because I love both colours very much, and couldn't make up my mind in which shades to use. I went with one of my untried pinks.
The manicure is a simple pink base with some free hand nail art using one colour. Here is what I've used: (Read more after the jump)
-Bourjois Anti-choc 10 days no chips #26 : is a pink purpl-y creme with very hidden shimmer. I used 2 coats for the base.
-Essence Nail art freestyle & tip painter Marry Berry: is a shimmery purple nail polish of which I've used to do some free hand waves and dots
-Konad Top coat
-Seche Vite
Please, don't forget to check what the other participants have done to their nails to represent this battle!

Deleteinteresting design! looks good...
ReplyDeleteThanks Shine eye!
DeleteBeautifully striking! Your lines are perfect, its nice seeing you do freehand designs you good at them! Your right hand looks good too, I'm terrible when it comes to doing designs on the other! xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Ithfifi! I appreciate your positive insight. Right hand is tough for me too :)
DeleteGorgeous! And nice work on both hands, impressing! And taking it slow is key, I mean, if I use an hour making nail art on both hand, my left hand is done in 5-10 minutes and my right hand takes 50-55 minutes; same result on both.. ;)
ReplyDeleteHi Gelic, I'm so glad you like it! I certainly didn't have the same result on both hands, but I can't complain since I'm a newbie. If I'd re do this, I'll keep the design to 1/3 of the nail instead of the half, and I will for sure use a dotting tool instead of a small brush next time, because dots are anything but sharp :P
