Fall Favourites: The Body Shop Honeymania Body butter & Soap
Oct 5, 2013
Well, let's get into some delicious news. I've recently fell in love with a product and I needed to share it with you, this is Honeymania from The body shop.
Lush Lemony flutter & Giveaway!!(CLOSED)
Sep 8, 2013
Hello my Lovelies!
How are you doing? I have an excellent product to share with you today, more than a Fal's favourite it's an All-time-favourite, but let's say that when Fall arrives hands, cuticles and nails start needing more care and moisture than during the more humid months of Summer.
I admit that during Summer I rarely use Lemony flutter, and prefer lighter formulas. But since the chilling, dry air starts to blow, and heating goes off, well, my hands need desperately a deep moisture and nourishing.
The empties: May-June 2013
Jul 1, 2013
Hello my lovelies! How are you doing? Two months have past since the last time I shared on my "empties" with you. So today I took photos of what was in "the empties bag" -a plastic bag where I keep my emptie containers waiting for the bi-month sum up- and this is what I got. Is not as much as the previous months for two reasons: I'm using less makeup and nail polish because I'm sooo busy studying I hardly find the time :( and I'm using a lot of huge sizes cosmetics: The body shop shower gel in 750 ml is an exemple: it takes ages to go through it!! But that is nicer to my wallet :)
So into the items I used up on May and June:
The empties: January-February 2013
Mar 1, 2013
Hi darlings! Happy Friday to you all!
How are you doing today? I'm not feeling at my best and thought I wouldn't bare to paint my nails because I've been coughing all day. Instead I'd like to share with you all the products I've used up recently.
I've decided to write a post like this every two months because I get many products in big sizes, so it takes a while until they're finish, and also sometimes I have several products of the same kind open at the same time (lets say hand creams, lip balms, etc.) and it takes longer to use them up.
So here is the list:
The empties: October & November 2012 (and a little philosophy)
Dec 1, 2012
How's your weekend so far? We're in the middle of carton boxes, again, starting to UNpack in our new house. My hands and nails have certainly suffered these days! I was needing a break and I thought to publish this idea I saw somewhere and that was in my drafts. "The Empties!!"
This is what I've used up the past month or so, and my opinion whether I'd repurchase or not:
The Body Shop Holidays LE Hand cream trio
Nov 4, 2012
Hello everyone! How is your weekend going so far? Have you had a nice Saturday? I'm here trying to figured out how the heck I ended up buying these after I said to myself over a hundred times "they're too expensive". Well the fact is I had not less than 2 The Body Shop boutiques in my town, and One of them is place at the very entry of the supermarket where I pick daily my groceries, diaries, etc. And this is too much of a temptation. So I could bare it around 2 weeks, since this limited edition came out, and this is really very long for me. So I enter the shop, and thought, I'll just check out the scents of the hand creams. Then spotted this cute little box with all three LE for Holiday creams, and that was the beginning of the end, LOL!! I was told I could have 20% off when spending a minimum amount, so I picked up also the vanilla lipbalm, which was eventually for free once the discount was applied.

Ginger sparkle, Cranberry Joy, Vanilla Bliss Hand creams |
I don't even know where to start to describe the scents. They are awesome, but not so strong that they would become bothering at some point. The Vanilla is just delicious!
Have you picked anything from The Body Shop holiday collection?
Loads of love, and enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Essence 24h hand protection balm Winter Edition
Oct 19, 2012
I was hanging around at Manor when I spotted these. It is the third year on a raw that Essence makes a hand balm limited edition for winter and this year they come in the following scents:
-Gingerbread Chai Latte: ginger is the outstanding scent in this balm, I can smell something else, not sure is chai latte though. Spicy.
-Caramel Hot Chocolate: it really smells like powder chocolate with a very slight hint of caramel. Sweet.
-Apple Cinnamon Punch: delicious apple scent with a hint of cinnamon. My favourite of the three. Fruity.
Essence claims:"This is an intensive repair care for
particularly rough dry hands. The repair formula with shea butter and
coconut oil provides moisture & care and protects your hands from
dryness for up to 24 hours does not leave an oily residue"
To be honest I only picked the Caramel hot chocolate first, tried it, and then went back to pick the other two! These are rich, and take a little of time to be absorbed by skin. Eventually you won't feel your hands greasy but it takes a while. I suffer from terribly dry hands during winter, so these are a good option for me! I wouldn't know if they really last 24h because I'm actually washing up all the time, and re-applying hand creams. But my hands feel nice and comfortably moistured so far.
I've payed 1,95 CHF each, but I think the recommended retail price is 0,95€.
Have you tried any of these yet? What are your favourite hand balms for winter?
