Polished Polyglot

I have a shitty skin, if you allow my expression. Dry, dull, super sensitive, intolerant and acne prone. Say with me: " yay!" (one has to cheer up as one can).

So I'm always looking for what's next and asking for samples, whether it is skincare or makeup, I'm forever in the quest of the perfect product. At one point I realized I have such a huge amount of samples that I started taking simple notes of the ones I try: brand, name of the product and if I like why, or if I don't like it why not (I'm getting old and I forget things). I've seen I'm almost finishing a notebook with those notes on my first impressions of products and I though:  This is totally good material to share with you!

So let's dive in the ocean of samples and testers, shall we?

I know we are melting in the (exceptionally) hot Swiss summer, but take a minute to dream-travel to La Serenissima... that's right the unique city in Europe, Venice.
That is where OPI is planning to take us next Fall!

Hi sweeties! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I certainly had. i spent most of the time with my family and friends which is so nice (comparing with weekends when I spend most of the time working on my paper).
Today I wnt to show you the last OPI colour I received from the San Francisco Collection, its name is In the Cable Car-Pool lane, and it's a gorgeous medium plum shade, or a dark berry if you prefer, so glossy and squishy! I love this kind of colours for Fall. The shade is not really unique, but surprisingly I do not have a dupe in my stash, that's a good point for me. The closest in my stash is my beloved Zoya Stacy, but the OPI one seems a tad brighter. My classic vampy shade seem to be darker than In the Cable car-pool Lane, nevertheless,  I think this one looks quite sexy and looks real plum under all lightings, unlike some other shades that look black under certain lights.

Hello again lovelies!! I wasn't planning to post today, but something so so so cool just happened that I had to post! I was studying when the post man rang to my bell and I went *gorsh, can't they just leave that at the mail box??!!!* "madame, we need a signature". Well, ok, the interruption was so worthy when I opened the package to find I received a booklet of the OPI San Francisco Collection for Fall 2013 in French, and 3 of the 15 polishes with a nice card from the OPI PR for Switzerland!
