Hello, sweeties! Happy Monday!
The mild and warm-ish weather we've been having since the end of summer is gone, and Autumn came this weekend in full force. So, the past weekend, we switched into indoors activities, but not less fun! We hosted a small children Halloween party at home and also attended my godson 14th Birthday party on Saturday and we had a lazy family Sunday that was such a great way to REST. I definitely needed that time to slow down and start this week with more energy! What is your favourite indoor activity for the cold and rainy weekends?
It's time for a new edition of the "Monday Shadow Challenge"! Today, I prepared a warm and sexy makeup with the colours "Chocolate" and "Pink". This kind of look that would be appropriate for a night out or a date. I hope you like it.

Hello, lovelies! Happy Friday!
How was your week? It was such a crazy busy week for me! And still hasn't finished. We've been renewing our furniture and we wanted to change our bed, but we thought to wait until black Friday and profit of some kind of discount or sale, as beds can be really expensive. Unfortunately, our bed had other plans. We had a little mishap on Sunday night, our 15-year-old bed broke (while my husband was laying on it) and our mattress (and the husband) finished abruptly on the floor! We've been sleeping on our sofa bed since then, which demanded some furniture movements (that's a nice way to say "my house is a total disorder now") LOL. This was could have been the perfect occasion for me to tidy up, sort stuff up, declutter a bit and get new stuff (new bed, new closet). But it's taking me more time than I intended. My house still looks like a mess! The husband had a crazy work week and could not help me, the broken bed is unbelievably heavy for me to even move it around, not to mention get it out of my apartment and three floors downstairs to throw it away (given the fact the bed is actually larger than the door and the staircase)... So the broken bed still lays in its original place. I decided not to stress about this and call for a "transition period", but as I'll be hosting a small Halloween party on Saturday (that's actually TOMORROW, but calling it "Saturday" sounds less stressful right now), I'm thinking to just throw the whole mess into one room and close the door. With a key ;) LOL.
Right now I'm at a store trying to buy a new bed, so if you're curious about how this story will end, you can watch my Instagram Stories!

The month of October comes slowly to an end, so it's time to share with you a new edition of my "shopping my stash" challenge. I've been using my very old and beloved Chanel Quadra Eyeshadow #39 Raffinement, which is a rose & plum toned palette that allows for the softest and more elegant eye looks. Shall we take a closer look at it?
Skincare │ Three Products to Prep your Skin for the Cold Season
Oct 25, 2018
Hello, my lovelies!! How is your week going? Also, how is your skin going?
We've been having a sweet and warm-ish weather, with lots of sun during September and October, but the cold season will arrive abruptly next week. Temperatures will drop 20 degrees and that has a great impact on our skin. If you are like me, you've already changed your wardrobe and prepare all the warmer and cosiest pieces you'll be needing, but have you thought about adding products that will help your skin resist and adapt to the weather change?
I have recently discovered the Brand Annemarie Börlind and I could test the three products* newly released: A nourishing body oil, an anti-ageing hand cream and an anti-ageing night cream for the face, which are thought to prepare your skin for the Cold Season!
Keep reading to find out more about these products and how they perform for me.
Bonjour mes belles !!

Hello, sweeties! Happy Monday!
Yesterday, was a very beautiful Sunday. We had the chance to visit a part of Switzerland we didn't know. We went to the Bernese Oberland, where we took the train ascending from Wilderswill to Shynige Platte station, which is placed at 1967m (645 ft) above the sea level. The travel itself was absolutely delightful! You wouldn't believe the beauty of the landscape even if I tried to explain it with words. Once up there we had a drink at the terrace of a hotel placed on the edge of the mountain and the view was spectacular. There is the possibility to go hiking as well, we didn't because it is quite a physical challenge for a 3yo child like my girl, but we will surely be back in a couple of years to do the hiking part! You can have a glimpse of our adventure on my Instagram Stories. What was the last unbelievably beautiful landscape you saw?
Like every week, it's the moment of sharing our "Monday Shadow Challenge" looks. This time I prepared quite a crazy loud makeup with the colours "Turquoise" and "Emerald Green". I thought this would be appropriate for a "Mermaid" look now that Halloween is approaching. I don't like much costumes that are very frightening or too realistic, with lots of (fake)blood involved. I admire those artistic makeups, but I prefer less blood in my own costumes, so anything from a clown to a mermaid would be my cup of tea ;). What about you? What kind of costume do you prefer for Halloween? super bloody and frightening or more sweet and innocent?

Hello, sweeties! Happy Monday!
Yesterday, I spent the most beautiful and exciting day at the Opera in Zurich with my hubby! We left the kids with grandpa and drove to Zurich, we had lunch in a fancy restaurant and attended the afternoon representation of "La Bohème" of Puccini. If you follow my Instagram Stories you must have seen the whole thing already, otherwise, you can find a few snaps of our Opera adventure on my highlights "Time with hubby" on my Instagram profile :)
You must know by now, that I am a fan of Opera (especially Italian composers), but since we had children it has become very difficult to attend any Opera, firstly the shows are quite long (around 3 hours including one or two breaks), so they are not children friendly! Although there are some nice adaptations for kids, they are not suitable for very young like mine, mostly for kids 8yo and up. Also, this kind of show only happens in big cities, that means we have to add travel time to the whole thing. When you end up spending 6 hours away in the evening, it usually needs you to stay overnight in the city you are visiting, that makes it all very complicated to organize, especially for expat families with no family near. But this time, my hubby organized everything and he found afternoon tickets on a Sunday!! That was so clever!! We had a family Sunday breakfast, we left around 11am and we were back home for dinner time around 7pm.
What about you? Do you often take time without the kids with your partner/couple? Does it require much organization? Is it also a total adventure for you too?
You know already, it's "Monday Shadow Challenge" time! I prepared a look in "Midnight blue" and "Coral" to share with you. My dear friend Lola, asked me to film a tutorial for this look, I am a bit film/video shy, but I would do a tutorial to please a friend. I hope you like it!!
