Valentine's day mini-mani-marathon: Heartshaped studs

Hello lovelies! How is your weekend? Less than a week for Valentine's day and counting!! OMGosh, I know, you've been fed up with Valentine's manicures already... But you need to understand I went through Halloween and Xmas without nailart, so I NEED TO DO SOME SEASON MANI PLEASE!! bare with me :)
Today I have a super simple red mani using heart shaped studs from Born pretty store

These are heart shaped studs from an assorted studs wheel  containing silver and golden studs of different shapes: hearts, stars, drops, rounds, squares and leaves. They are quite small the biggest being the hearts (5mm) and the smallest the rounds and squares (2mm). There are 25 pieces of each shape and color, making a total of 300 studs! Plus they are totally re-usable if you only stick them with varnish (nail glue is actually difficult to remove) So I think I will have enough studs like FOREVER, hahaha.

The manicure is very simple and quickly done! Ideal for a last minute mani. I started with two thin coats of OPI What is your Point Settia? from Gwen Stefani for OPI Holiday collection, then one coat of Essence fast dry topcoat and then placed my hearts with small tweezers before the topcoat dried to allow the studs to fix into it. I have not used a second coat of topcoat, though I should have if I wanted the studs to hold for longer, but I removed the manicure the same evening (just because I was dying to try the ne OPI 50 Shades of Grey collection).

The  300Pcs Dazzling Stud wheel retails for 3.16 USD at Born pretty store. Remember you can have 10% off of your purchase  by entering my code at checkout: DBL91

    1. you're right Ithi! I really like this OPI crelly, it is the prefect consistency between a cream and a jelly, super glossy but easy to apply and self-leveling!
I'm so glad you liked it :)

    1. Oh, well, we didn't know IF we were going somewhere! haha. When these kind of dates is very difficult to find someone trustful to leave our boy with (everybody we know has actually got plans!) and having no family around does not help, and we don't have a nanny or babysitter of trust. So unless we take him with us I don't see how!!
