Hello my dear readers! How are you today?
It's time for another round of the TRi-Polish Challenge!! We're in April's round, which means Three new colours. The mandatory colours for this month are: Pink, Turquoise and Orange. What a tricky combo... Let's see my picks:
So, to make this challenge all more exciting I decided to use only my "untrieds". Mind you I have so, so many! In this way I would have also some material for my project of swatching and photographing every polish I own, 2 birds one stone. For this month I chose 2 polishes from a Swiss local brand named Clic, which are the neon pink #465 and the neon orange #006, the turquoise I chose is H&M Bella's Choice.
Let me tell you the neon polishes deserve a post of their own! They're fantastic. Jelly consistence but opaque in (almost) one coat, buttery smooth application and glossy finish! Trust me when I say my pictures are dull and irl these babies are blinding BRIGHT!
For this mani I started painting my nails with two coats of the Orange polish over Essence BTGN base sealer (this one is good for preventing staining). Then I sponged a gradient on my ring finger using the three colours. On the other fingernails I just added a diagonal french tip with the pink shade. The difficult part wast striping the Zebra! using NYX Ink in black I try my best for it not to look like a tiger print, lol! well, thought instead of copying other nails I would copy from zebra pictures, and it wasn't totally a good idea... Well, at least it's an original zebra pattern.
So let me know your thoughts about this manicure, and don't forget to see all the wonderful creations of the other participants!
Love,
Nati
I so love the polishes you chose! And you said these were untrieds? I wouldn't have been able to resist these for long ;)
ReplyDeleteAll I gotta say is this: you got me at gradient :) Looks lovely and the detail of the zebra print makes a great compliment to it - awesome one! :D
Hi Mina! It's so nice of you to leave me such a sweet comment, I feel so flattered!

ReplyDeletejaja! sí tienes razón, es que no paro de imaginarme cómo sería una zebra punk, me hace mucha gracia, jaja.
DeleteSalut Nati, stunning, blinding, beautiful - you floored me!!! I love the three colors combined (easy since I don't need to do manis using the three of them) - they are just happy and bright summer shades. I love your Zebra stripes and the gradient on your ring finger is a stunner, I cannot wait what you will come up next with!!!! Bisous xxx
ReplyDeleteOh Christine, you're always so sweet! Thank you for such compliments. Well, evidently my other manis will at least be as bright as this one, lol!

ReplyDeletethe freehand zebra stripes are awesome and really complement the bright colours.
ReplyDeleteWOW! this was amazing! I think it looks neon now and could only imagine how bright it is irl! I'm looking forward to see posts with clic alone too, I've never heard of the brand and love hearing more about it. :)

DeleteNatalia!! These are just stunning! This is by far one of my fave mani's I've ever seen. I love the colours and the blending is totally beautiful. I also have to say well done with the zebra striping, I personally think it is far more pretty and unique the way you did it. I have such nail love for this look! Also thank you so much for the kind comment you left me, I'm going to take a leap out of your book and be more confident because the way you described self doubt and confidence is so positive :) xx
