Hello lovelies! How are you today?
This is day 28 of the 33DC Challenge and as the prompt is "Lines" that would be the perfect occasion to test the Candy Color Shimmer Metal Liner that Born Pretty Store sent me for review.

Let me tell you how many nail polish liners I own: check this post. And that's only NYX liners, I also have 12 LA colours and some of other brands. So you may think, why do I choose to review yet another liner? BECAUSE, I can't seem to find a decent gold or silver metallic liner! They are too sheer, too gloppy or too glittery, or just hell to apply. I was very intrigued to test this one, and was pleasantly surprised.

This is Candy Color Shimmer Metal Liner in # 3 gold in #3, a gorgeous and very balanced shade of gold that would paired nicely with a multitude of other colours. And that is a must in my book.

The bottle is very slender and it claims to contain 15ml, which is a lot, I think it's probably mislabeled because although it seems bigger than the other liners I own which only contain 7.5 ml, it certainly does not contain the double. The brush is thinner and firmer than my above mentioned brand liners. This way you get better application for super sharp straight lines, but it makes it more difficult to draw curvy lines. Nobody is perfect.

The formula is great, a little on the thick side, but totally manageable. In my opinion the outstanding qualities of this liner and the opacity and the colour!

I'm really happy with this liner and now I'd like to try other colours!
For this manicure I used two coats of Essie Toggle to the top, from the latest Shearling Darling winter collection, then I freehanded my lines using the gold liner and finished with one coat of Poshé top coat.

That was my take on the "line" manicure, though some of the lines are not so sharp! That was my fault trying to be quick to take the pictures while there was still daylight. What do you think about it?
Please, do not forget to check on the other ladies!
Love,
Nati
