Today I have a sheet of Sweet Night View Oil Painting Water Decals provided by Born Pretty Store to share with you and this mani is really cheering me up.
You must fed up with me saying how I like water decals and that I also prefer them to stickers so I will spare you tha part ;).The decal comes in a square sheet as a single large image, as opposed to other decals I've tried that are just individually printed small designs, this one is a single image, so very pretty it's almost a pity to cut it through! On one hand that gives many different possibilities of decoration, on the other hand you really need to be accurate while cutting the shapes, specially if you want them to fit your nails exactely. The image I chose is a lovely colourful paradise bird, but the colours are very subtle and wearable. You can click on the pics to enlarge them.

My manicure was very simple, I used basecoat, two coats of OPI My vampire is buff and waited for it to dry COMPLETELY.
I cut out the bits of the size of my nails and put them in a cup with water, when the decals started to peel from the paper by themselves and float, I picked them with tweezers and placed them on the nails, I pressed with a cotton pad for a couple of seconds. Finally I sealed the manicure with one coat of topcoat.
