Hello, my lovelies! Are you enjoying the bank holiday?
I don't want to let the first week of May go away without sharing with you some of the products I've emptied lately, it's been ages since I wrote a similar post!

Montagne Jeunesse Dead Sea Mud Spa:  This has been rebranded to "7th Heaven" and I discover a lot of 10 masks untouched in the back of a drawer (Spring cleaning). I thought I would do a small sensitivity test inside my arm before applying it on the face, and as I had not reacted to it, I used it, and quite enjoyed it! My skin felt soft and very clean. I used several other masks this month but forgot to keep the packages.

Korres Wild Rose 24-H Moisturising Brightening Cream. SPF 6: I got this with very high expectations. This would deserve a review on its own, but I'll try to be brief. It is indicated for normal to dry skin types, it's supposed to be a great source of vitamin C, repair fine lines and pigmentation disorders. I like its texture, and I really like how my skin feels and looks right after application. But as the hours go by, my impression is that it's not moisturizing enough on its own for me. Especially during winter (I started using it in February). About the brightening claim, truth is I didn't notice anything spectacular while using it, but as I stopped using it I really saw my skin becoming duller, and that's the main reason that makes me want to try it again, next time I will combine it with the Oil from the same range, to see if that can compensate for the extra moisture my skin needs.

The Body Shop Smoky Poppy Body Butter: The body butter is as good as most TBS body butter. But when I first opened this jar I loved the scent as much as I hate it now that I've finished it. Too smokey, too poppy, too much. I will certainly not repurchase this one.

SharaShara Bouncy Jelly Lip Patch: I got curious about this, and god knows if there is somebody on the face of the earth that could use some extra moisture for the lips, that someone is me. First of, the instructions are only in Korean. Or Japanese. Or both? Whatever it is, I had to google to find out. I applied it for 10 minutes and felt nothing, except the pleasant flowery-fruity scent. I removed it and my lips felt slightly moisturized, like when I apply a thick layer of balm. But I couldn't notice any other improvement. Besides, the effect was really short, after a couple of hours my lips were dry and uncomfortable as always. I may try another brand, I heard good things about Tony Moly, but I certainly don't recommend this one for very dry lips.

Estée Lauder Hydrationist. Maximum moisture cream: A nice moisturizing cream that I used only at night because I didn't want to apply the Korres one for bedtime as it has titanium dioxide (SPF) . This cream doesn't claim anything and doesn't do anything except moisturizing. I got it for a good deal, but I won't repurchase it if I have to pay full price. There are plenty of nice moisturizers out there for less money.

Klorane Shampoo with Almond milk: This is one of my favorites. I've already talked to you about it here, and my opinion hasn't changed. It's been two years now I'm so happy with the brand that I don't want to buy other shampoos. I think I should write a full post to tell you why.

Weleda Almond Sensitive shower cream: There was an offer at my local supermarket: two of these for the price of one. I like the brand, so I said why not. I don't like it. I can't stand the scent, the liquidy texture. It doesn't foam, but it doesn't leave my skin feeling more hydrated or nourished, and I swear my skin itches a few hours after showering with this. I don't know what to do with the extra bottle.

Bourjois Healthy mix Foundation: Drugstore foundation and I don't get along. This is the only drugstore foundation that I've finished and repurchase again and again (most of them end up in the bin after three uses). So that's saying A LOT. Dewy finish, nice coverage, pleasant texture, long wear time, and a great color match for me. What else can you ask?

Clarins Eye Revive Beauty Flash: I've repurchased this several times. I've written about it the first time I got it (here). As a beauty addict that I am, I keep buying other eye products to test, but I haven't yet come across with a day eye cream that is more adapted to me as this one. It claims: Refreshes, tightens, brightens. And so it does. I have a couple of eye contour products to test right now, but when I'm through with those, I will probably come back to this one.

Urban Decal All Nighter setting spray. This was a deluxe size I loved for traveling. And it died on my last trip. I love this setting spray, the original. I think is a great value for money. Is it a miracle in a bottle? Nope, but it certainly refreshes and prolongs makeup wear, so it's definitely one to keep on the shelf for those long days.

Well, that's quite a lot of products, I'm sorry for the long post! What products have you finished lately? Are you familiar with any of the products of my list? Don't be shy and let me know your opinion in the comments!

Love,
Nati
