Happy Friday sweeties! How are you today?

I'm very happy preparing the last things for our family vacation! One more day to go and we'll be off to Italy! I can't wait ♥_♥

I'll be keeping today's post short and sweet, because I still have to pack, but I didn't want to miss the appointment with the 40 Great nail Art ideas Challenge, which today brings us a rather unusual theme for nail art. INSECTS!! Of course, by the first picture you've already guessed what I tried to represent and I took the easy minimal path :P
But I'm sure this Friday will be full of bugs ;)

I was inspired by the amazing nail desing Chalkboard Nails did a few years ago, but of course, I totally skipped the "freehand painting" part, oops. For my version of this design, I started painting all my nails with yellow nail polish (Essence Wannabe my sunshine) and stamped using Bundle Monster BM XL04 and Essence Black is back nail polish on my pinkie and my thumb. I then painted some black stripes on my index finger, helped by little bits of striping tape. Finally, I added two black rhinestones to my middle and ring fingernails and sealed the whole with topcoat. Tadaaa!

I hope you liked this simple yet eye catching manicure!  It is really easy to achieve and it provides a big visual effect because yellow and black are so contrasting. Now, I'm going to go see what bugs my challenge pals have put on their nails! You too, you can pay a visit to the other participants using the linkup below :)

Have a fantastic weekend!

Love,
Nati
