Hi There! How are you doing?
Fall is almost finished and I haven't had the time to share with you what my makeup choices was this season for my personal makeup challenge. I wanted to catch up with that today, just as a way to document my progress rotating and using up makeup.

If you want to know the reasons that motivated this challenge, please, head over here.
This challenge is very simple: at the beginning of a season (Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall) I will choose some pieces of makeup from my stash and post them here. By the end of that season I shall post how well (or not) I've done using them up, and propose new pieces for the following season.
As a round-up for Summer part of this Challenge, I shall say I ended up tossing two of the cream eyeshadows which dried out completely. Three of the lipsticks literally melted during the Summer hot weather. I thought I should depot them and got a lipstick palette to do so, now I only need to find the time. The cream blushes I chose are so pigmented that it would take me forever and a day to use them up. However, I completely used up the bronzer part of the Dior powder!

Now, talking about Fall, I had taken the pics for this post so long ago that I can't remember when it was, but I suppose it was around mid-September. All the makeup pieces you see have been used many times since then but they are not quite near to be finished.

My picks for the Fall challenge were:

The lippies

I haven't finished even one of the lippies I've included in the challenge so far. So regarding lipstick  the challenge is more about actually rotating my choices than using them up. For that purpose, I make sure to have a large variety for choice and trying to stick to those pieces. For Fall I chose three matte colours, one creamy and three with a little pearl shimmer. I included the three oldest lippies of my collection and decided that I'f they're not finish by the end of the winter I'll toss them.

NYX Matte Lipstick #16 Merlot
NYX Round lipstick 503 Medusa (discontinued)

The eyeshadows

Following the same logic I used for Summer, I gice priority to cream products which are those who go to waste quicker. However, I realised my eyelids can't bear cream formulas everyday (as my eyes are very sensitive and those take much more effort to remove) so this time I included a custom quad from MAC that I've had for years and I use quite often, to be honest. Here are my choices:

MAC custom quad including (in clockwise sense starting on topleft corner)
- MAC eyeshadow BA9 Star violet
- MAC eyeshadow AA8 Honey Lust
- MAC eyeshadow A45 Beauty marked
- MAC eyeshadow A79 Kid
Chanel Stylo Eyeshadow 147 Caroube
Chanel Illusion d'Ombre #837 Fatal

Face products

This time I chose two blushes that I don't use as blushers at all. In fact the pink blusher I chose I use it mainly as subtle highlighter and the taupe one as contouring powder. As for the NYx Leopard bronzer I use it mainly as blush because it is way too pink/rose to be used as an actual bronzer on me!
These are my picks from left to right :

NYX High DEfinition Blush  #22 Taupe
NYX Tango with Bronzer #04 When Leopard gets a tan
Essence Home Sweet Home blush 01 Knits for Chicks (discontinued)
