I totally fall in that category so I immediately said YES! and started digging up my drawers to find pretty blushes to show you!

Comme je tombe pile poile dans cette catégorie, j'ai accepté immédiatement et je me suis aussitôt mise à fouiller dans mes tiroirs en quête de jolis fards à joues pour vous les montrer!

Blush with best Packaging: MAC Powder Blush in Hipness

When shopping for blush I almost never pay attention to packaging. That being said, when I saw this MAC Powder blush in Hipness from MAC limited edition Wash & dry collection in 2014: How could I not get this? It is gorgeous!

Normalement, quand je recherche du blush je ne prête presque pas d'attention au packaging. Cela dit, quand j'ai vus MAC Powder blush in Hipness de la collection Wash & Dry de MAC en 2014: Comment resister à ceci? Regardez-moi ça! les couleurs du packaging sont fantastiques. 





Prettiest Colour +  Least Practical: NYX Butt Naked eyes

I combine two questions here. One of my prettiest blush colours is in this awkward pull out drawer in a huge combined NYX palette. Seriously, look at those swatches and tell me why, WHY, OH WHY??? NYX would not make a single edition of this blush!!

L'un de mes blush plus jolis se trouve dans ce ridicule tiroir dans une palette combiné de NYX. Non, mais, sérieusement, regardez-moi ce swatch et dites moi pourquoi NYX ne fait pas un blush individuel avec cette teinte. Elle est tellement belle, ais elle est dans le packaging le plus anti-pratique du monde.

Most Pigmented: Diorblush Cheek creme in #971 Paréo


I'm not a fan of very pigmented blushes for two reasons: I'm pale and I'm old. As you can't really beat that, I go for nice longlasting medium pigmentation. Or I fall for this gorgeous bright pink Dior. Luckily for me this little babe, blends like nothing.

Je ne suis pas fan des blush trop pigmentés pour deux raisons: je suis pâle et je suis vieille. Comme on peut rien contre ça, je préfère des blush moyennement pigmentés et très faciles à estomper. Tel est le cas de ce sublime rose de Dior !






Everyday Blush: MAC Mineralize Blush in Modest


MAC Modest looks like nothing special, but it is such a versatile blush! It's the perfect subtle muted pink slightly warm, with a very pretty semi-matte finish. Ideal for a "no makeup makeup". It is also great to complement a strong red lip.

MAC Modest n'a l'air de rien, mais c'est un blush très versatile! Il est un rose vieux subtil et légèrement chalereux, avec une finitione semi-matte très jolie. Il est idéal pour un look "no makeup makeup" ou pour accompagner des lèvres rouges.






Party Blush: Lancôme Blush Subtil in #?

This blush is quite old, and I think this shade is not longer available, I cannot even read the label. I have used it quite a bit and it is a great blush for a party look. It has the most gorgeous and subtle golden glitter, which is perfect to compliment a party look!

Ce blush a déjà quelques années, il me semble que cette teinte n'est plus disponible (de toute façon on ne peut même pas lire l'étiquete). Je l'ai pas mal utilisé et je crois qu'il est idéal pour un look de fête. Il a des très fines paillete dorées!







Regret Purchasing: DiorBlush in 421 Starlight

I got this "Diorblush" on a sale at a ridiculous price, (I think I paid 15 CHF instead of 66 CHF). The thing is, you can hardly call this a "blush". I figured I could use it as a highlighter. But nope. It is too close to my skintone and does nothing to my complexion. Lesson learned: don't buy if you can't test the product first, even if the pricetag is tempting.

J'ai acheté ce Diorblush dans une liquidation pour un prix ridicule (je crois 15 chf au lieu de 66chf). Mais on peut difficilement appeler ceci un "blush". J'ai cru que j'aurais pu l'utiliser en tant qu'enlumineur, mais non. Il se voit même pas sur ma peau. Leçon apprie: ne pas acheter sans tester, même si le prix est bon.





Least Used: Diorskin Nude Tan Tie Dye Edition 002 Coral Sunset

I love this blush and I think it is really flattering in summer, I simply have no reason why I do not use this ! I have a review on it here. I suppose I feel to sorry to ruin the nice pattern on the blush, but that's not a good reason so I definitely have to wear this blush more often!

J'adore ce blush et je le trouve très flatteur en été, je n'ai absolument aucune raison valable pour laquelle je ne l'utilise pas. J'ai ecrit une revue sur celui-ci. Je suppose que j'ai peur de gacher le dessin, mais bon, ce n'est pas une raison valable, alors je dois y rémédier et utiliser ce blush beaucoup plus!





Most Used/ Would Never Let Go : Benefit Coralista

This is a gorgeous shimmery peach blush, a bit translucent and so flattering, specially for neutral undertones like mine. I think Coralista was the first item I ever bought from this brand. I love it and I used to wear it daily for a long time, then other blushes came along and I left this one aside. But now I'm decided to use it again so I've included it on my Spring Makeup Challenge.

Ce magnifique blush couleur pêche moiré, un tant translucide, est très flatteur. Je crois que Coralista a été le premier produit que j'ai acheté de cette marque, je l'aime et je l'ai utilisé quotidiennement pendant longtemps. Je l'ai ajouté au Spring Makeup Challenge pour l'utiliser à nouveau.





Favourite Blush Brand: Milani

This one was a very difficult question because I love several brands for different reasons, but I just couldn't leave Milani out of this tag. I particularly love the Milani baked blushes, of which I own three: Luminoso, Fantastico mauve and Dolce Pink. They have great pigmentation, a lovely effect on the skin, they last all day and have a low price tag. What else can you ask to a blush?

Celle-ci était une question très difficile parce que j'aime plusieurs marques pour différentes raisons, mais je ne pouvais pas laisser Milani en dehors du tag. J'aime particulièrement les fards à joues cuits de Milani, dont je possède trois:  Luminoso, Fantastico mauve et Dolce Pink. Ils ont une grande pigmentation, un bel effet sur la peau, ils durent toute la journée et sont économiques. Que peut-on demander de plus à un blush?






Greatest Blush Discovery of the last year +  Most Expensive: Chanel Sunkiss Ribbon Harmoie de Blush


I combined both most expensive and best find of the year, because honestly, I doubt I could find such a makeup gem this year, and the pricetag is 70CHF!! I have recently written a short review on it so you can read it here, if you like.

Most Practical: Le blush crème de Chanel in 62 Présage

I can't think of a most practical blush in my whole collection. It is lightweigh, thin, small, it can be applied with fingers and it carries a mirror! This was a limited edition a few years ago but if you are still curious about it you can see my review here.

Je ne peux pas penser à un blush plus pratique dans toute ma collection. Il est léger, mince, petit, peut être appliquée avec les doigts et a un miroir! Ce fut une édition limitée il y a quelques années, mais si vous êtes encore curieux à ce sujet, vous pouvez voir ma revue ici.






Least Expensive: Essence Knits for Chicks

I guess Essence is the cheapest brand available in Swiss drugstores that carries some really neat products. I wouldn't say every blush of the brand is recommendable but this one, and many in the Trend editions are fairly good. Although the cool shades of rose and pink are not my first choice, I really like this one. I think I paid something like 3.99 chf for it.

Je suppose Essence est la marque la moins chère disponible dans les supermarchés suisses qui a certains produits vraiment sympas. Je ne dirais pas que tous les blush de la marque sont louables, mais celui-ci, et beaucoup dans les éditions limitéss, sont assez bons. Bien que les nuances froides de rose ne sont pas mon premier choix, j'aime beaucoup celui-ci. Je crois que je payé quelque chose comme 3.99 chf pour ce blush
