Makeup │ Brand in the Spotlight: H&M
Mar 8, 2018
Hello, Sweeties!
It's been a while since H&M launched its own makeup and cosmetics range in September 2015. I think since about mid-2016, the whole range became available in the only H&M store in my small city of Biel. Since then, as I'm forever curious about new makeup, I picked a few items here and there, that I used gladly, others that I didn't like. But many of them have been featured on this blog in my different makeup looks. Today I'm gathering in one post the products I like the most from this brand, I'm also showing you a makeup look I made with them. I hope you like it!
Makeup │Essence cosmetics Exit to Explore Trend Edition - My picks
Aug 21, 2016
Hello, sweeties! How is your weekend so far?
It's been ages since I've posted about drugstore makeup, more specifically about Essence Cosmetics limited edition collections. I keep myself informed of all the new releases and nothing seemed interesting enough lately. Until last week, when I spotted "Exit to Explore" collection and found it so cute that I decided to pick a few items, and today I'd love to share them with you.

The blush tag
Apr 27, 2016
A few days ago, the lovely Myrona from Our Walking closet's secrets tagged me to answer a series of questions meant for a makeup addict. More precisely for a blush addict. I totally fall in that category so I immediately said YES! and started digging up my drawers to find pretty blushes to show you!

FOTD: Featuring Diorskin Blush Harmony in Coral Sunset
Sep 8, 2015
In a few days Summer will be officially ended by the autumnal equinox. That's a fact. The weather has already chilled out and darkened a bit, yet another fact. But what can you do when you can't let go the Summer makeup pieces that are so freaking flattering just because the season changes! Well, that's my drama with Diorskin Nude Tan Tye Dye Edition Blush Harmony in 002 Coral Sunset. I just couldn't put this pretty in the bottom of a drawer without dedicating it a proper post in the blog. Could I?
July Makeup Bag: the heat is on
Jul 14, 2015
Since I live in Switzerland I have never experience a heat like this. If you, like me, were born in a country with long, humid and torrid Summers, then you know perfectly 36°C is not the worse that can happen, but Switzerland is not prepared for this kind of temperatures. The city, the houses, the shops, the transport means, all are a trap for heat! perfectly designed to maintain the warmth and save heating energy during the long Winters, but not at all suitable for hot summers.
In this kind of situation, I try to manage in order to avoid my makeup sliding off of my face, without having to buy special products. If you keep reading you'll find out how I do it.
My picks from MAC Wash & dry collection
May 29, 2015

Hello sweeties! I am back :) !!
If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram you already know my baby girl was born on the 10th May and I took a couple of weeks off-line. Today I thought it would be nice to share with you my recent makeup routine and what were the products most frequently present in my makeup bag this month. I still haven't decided nor planned on my posting frequency during my "maternity-leave", so don't worry if I don't post very frequently from now on ;)

Summer favourites: Guerlain Terracotta Sun Celebration & Gloss d'enfer 940 Nahema Smack

I normally use all my makeup. I mean, not all at the same time of course! But I manage to rotate it, with seasons, special occasions, and a lot of organization, each piece of my collection eventually comes to life. Now this is the first time a piece of makeup is among my favourites and I'm so reluctant to actually use it! I would just stare at it for hours in admiration! Hahaha, yep I'm a hopeless case!
BH Cosmetics San Francisco Palette

BH Cosmetics Hollywood Palette
Jan 7, 2014
Hello my lovelies! How are you?
This review is several months overdue! It's about a very pretty palette I got last year at the beginning of Fall from a brand that was new to me called BH Cosmetics. I had been hearing and reading lots of good reviews about this brand, they're so freaking affordable with unusual bold colours and outstanding pigmentation. I went many times to their site to see the famous "120 colours palette" and honestly that was not for me. But one day I received this awesome news about three very compact palettes with eyeshades and blushes, all 3 for less than 15 USD and I jumped headfirst into it!
Catrice Arts Collection LE Baroque Eye & face palette - Swatches & review
Oct 17, 2013
Hello my lovelies! How are you today? I'm very excited because I've been waiting impatiently for this new Catrice Limited edition to be available since I first saw the promo pictures. Catrice The Arts collection is inspired by three different artistic movements: Art Nouveau, Baroque and Art deco, all very rich in colour and details. The Collection consists on three eyes and face palettes and three coordinated nail polishes. You can see all the items of the collection collection here.
Unlike last year, when I picked the 3 palettes of Big city life collection, this year I couldn't justify owning more bronze and gunmetal eyeshades, or yet another gold nail polish. So the Art Déco palette and polish were out of the question. I'm still hhesitant whether I should pick the Art Nouveau set, or maybe just the polish. Finally, I only bought one the Baroque palette and nail polish which I'll be showing you today.
Summer favourites farewell: NYX Matte bronzer & NYX mini haul
Sep 14, 2013
Hi lovelies! The countdown to Fall is on, but I wanted to enjoy the last days of Summer, and share with you a NYX mini haul I got ages ago! I bought these Items at the beginning of May during the -40% NYX at so it was a total steal. I got a NYX cream blush in hot Pink, NYX Gel eyeliner in black, NYX Xtream lip cream in Buttery nude, a Concealer Jar in Beige and the star of the bunch the NYX Matte Bronzer. I can't begin to tell you how I love this Bronzer. It's so nice prolonging the feeling of a tanned skin a bit longer!
