Korean Beauty │ Upgrading Vitamin C in my skincare routine with Tia'm My Signature C Source
Mar 13, 2018
Hello, lovelies!
How are you today? It's been one of the toughest days ever, and everything seems to go wrong, so I decided to sit down and shake it all off by doing one of my favourite things: chatting about skincare!
You might know by now that Korean skincare products are all the rage, many of the big occidental distributors and retailers have included great Korean products to their assortments, so this is not new. I appreciate finding many of my favourite Face masks at Sephora, for example. But the truth is, when I am trying to explore a little deeper into the ocean of Korean brands and products, I turn to one of the specialized boutiques in Switzerland. BoOonBox is where I go to pick items I never tried before, like this Vitamin C Serum from the brand Tia'm.

Makeup │ Electric look in Blue and Purple [Monday Shadow Challenge]
Mar 12, 2018
Happy Monday, my lovelies!
I hope you all had a nice weekend! I didn't do anything special, I blogged and rested most of it. The rainy weather was a perfect excuse for cuddling with the hubby, with the kids on top. Yeah, it seems that's automatic, when mummy and dad hug each other, the kids jump on top like puppies! Is it the case for you too? We are huggers, I think that's a good thing, once I read that a human being needs hugs to be happy, it was something like "We need 4 hugs a day for survival. We need 8 hugs a day for maintenance. We need 12 hugs a day for growth." I don't know if it's true, but usually, my weekends start with two little children coming to my bedroom, jumping into my bed to wake me up with a hug and it's one of the best things of my life. What about you? Are you a hugger?
Well, you know what comes now... It's makeup time! Let's bring a touch of bold colours to brighten up such a gloomy, windy and rainy Monday! Today's makeup for the Monday Shadow Challenge combines "purple and royal blue". The result is ELECTRIC!

Makeup │ Brand in the Spotlight: H&M
Mar 8, 2018
Hello, Sweeties!
It's been a while since H&M launched its own makeup and cosmetics range in September 2015. I think since about mid-2016, the whole range became available in the only H&M store in my small city of Biel. Since then, as I'm forever curious about new makeup, I picked a few items here and there, that I used gladly, others that I didn't like. But many of them have been featured on this blog in my different makeup looks. Today I'm gathering in one post the products I like the most from this brand, I'm also showing you a makeup look I made with them. I hope you like it!
Stationary │ New Happy Planner Stickers and Accessories
Mar 6, 2018
I'm a total sucker for stationary, in general. When I enter a stationary shop, my little eyes gleam with rainbow glitter! I can't help it, all those colours and small items that are already pretty themselves, but in addition, they are meant for creative activities! When I was young, I used to do a lot of creative manual activities, I draw, paint, make collages, so I always found something useful in the stationary shops. Nowadays, I don't longer paint or draw, but my main "creative" activity is decorating my planner. For many years I kept a regular planner, to keep track of my activities, appointments and notes, but it wasn't a creative outlet. A few years ago I discovered Happy Planner, which is not only incredibly customizable for your own needs, but also allows for some entertaining creativity to happen.
I bought my planner in 2016, and since then I only keep adding months to the same planner. Today, I'd like to show you some decorative (but also useful) stickers and accessories for my planner that I bought recently from MAMBI.
Makeup │Transition to Spring in chocolate brown and light green [Monday Shadow Challenge]
Hello, my lovelies!
Have you done anything special last weekend? last week it snowed a lot around here and we were hoping it would stick through the weekend so we could take the kids sledding, and it did! So we had lots of fun in the snow! Has it snowed where you live?
Now, let's get into makeup! As much as I enjoy playing in the snow with my children, I'm pretty much fed up with winter by now and I REALLY want Spring to arrive. Seriously. Today's makeup was done last week when the temperature reached -20°C and I was praying for it to get warmer! The Monday Shadow Challenge combines "chocolate brown and anise green" and I created a simple makeup as a transition from winter to spring. I hope you like it!
Nail Art │ Pink Satin Paisley manicure done with Silicone Mat [Tutorial]
Mar 4, 2018
Hello, my lovelies! How are you today?
I only have a few minutes to write today, but I really wanted to share this manicure I made for the 26 Great Nail Art Ideas challenge this week. Our challenge prompt was not a "theme" or a colour but a nail art technique. Basically, we could do whatever design we wanted, with whatever colours we preferred, as long as we used a "silicon mat" as a tool in the process of making the nail art. If you are new to nail art, you must be wondering what the heck is this "silicon mat" thing. You might find this tool a bit strange, but a silicon mat has become a must-have for any nail artist. Keep reading to find out why!

Makeup │Soft neutral look using NARS Man Ray Love Game palette
Mar 1, 2018
Hello, sweeties!
After a long very cold week, we woke up this morning to a beautiful white snowy landscape! The whole Switzerland is under the snow! For us in the city of Biel is the first real snow this winter and my children were so excited to go out this morning that 7:30 am everybody was ready and fully dressed according to the weather. My two-year-old girl went singing "jingle bells" all the way to the daycare, lol. I think she was a bit confused, haha, but I found it so sweet I couldn't tell her anything. I think she wasn't the only one. The city authorities might have been confused as well, because even at 8 AM no street or pavement was shovelled or cleared, I struggled to push my girl in her stroller! and my stroller has special features for snow.
Well, let's get into makeup! I've prepared today's look a few days ago, because I wanted a fresh and soft look like one I would wear in Spring. However, now that everything is covered in snow, I wouldn't mind a few more days of winter, lol. For today's makeup I used a beautiful palette from NARS which was released last year for Fall in the "Man Ray" collection, this is the NARS Love Game palette, which was a limited edition but it is still available in Sephora.fr.
