Hello, lovelies! Happy Monday!
I hope you all had a great weekend, we are enjoying the Italian countryside, no mobile, no WiFi (unless we go to the mall in the city) and this is soooo good. Also, there is not air conditioning and it's super hot, so this is not so good, but we'll survive ;) This weekend we've been mainly resting, meeting friends, family and EATING delicious food, so I really don't complain ;) What was your weekend like?

Today, the Monday Shadow Challenge prompted us to use "Red" and "Turquoise" colours. So, I've created a sophisticated, yet simple to do, summer look for anight out! It is a look that will make heads turn but you can achieve it with only three products so it's a super travel friendly makeup look. I hope you like it :)

This weekend has been so busy! We will be leaving soon for a summer vacation and I'm trying to have everything ready in advance and see if this time I can have our bags packed the day before departure, lol. I have thought to take a break from blogging while we are away, but then I decided I was going to keep posting but at a lower pace. So I've prepared enough makeup looks and manicures to keep this spot alive during the rest of July and the beginning of August, but there won't be any review or skincare blog post until we come back. That means that I will be posting "only" twice per week, not bad for a vacation right?!

Today, it's time for a new edition of my "shopping my stash" challenge!  This month I've been playing with Dior 5 Couleurs #374 Blue Lagoon, which I think is perfect for summer and light colourful looks or more sophisticated ones. Today I'm showing you one the looks I've created with it, I hope you like it :)

I had a terrible week last week, and I really needed to take some time off this weekend. By time off I mean time to REALLY rest and do things that would help me relax. Saturday morning I took the time to do my nails properly. It's the first time in years that I'm wearing the same colour on both hands, LOL. Sunday was quiet and relaxing, I prepared brunch for my family, we had a lovely lazy afternoon and in the evening we went to the movies with hubby. It was a date like in the old days. he actually took the children to their grandad while I got ready and then he waited for me downstairs, lol. It was odd-beautiful. When we arrived at the movies we eventually realised the film was spoken in German, which none of us knows enough as to watch a movie without subtitles. We have asked many times before getting the ticket "which language is it in?" and the man assured us it was English with German subtitles. But as it resulted to be German with no subtitles he kindly refunded us. So we ended up having a lovely evening having a drink (or two) on a terrace and chatting instead, which was really nice! Does sometimes happen to you that your original plan doesn't work out but what happens instead is way better?
