This week the "26 Great Nail Art Ideas" challenge is "work appropriate nail art".
Some jobs are very strict and don't allow nail polish at all. Some jobs are super relaxed and you could sport the craziest nail art to work without a problem. But, in between the two extremes, there are those jobs where while you can still wear nail polish, the very conservative environment (or different reasons) would require a discreet, lo-profile nail grooming. So today my challenge pals and I are here to remind you that being conservative and discreet doesn't mean boring! You can totally wear nail art to a conservative job and slaaaaay! ...in a discreet way, of course.

Last Fall my hubby traveled to the US during Thanks Giving period and he took advantage of the Black Friday sales. He asked me "what is one thing you'd like" (he is so sweet and generous always!) I immediately thought of this palette! I have been wanting it ever since it was launched because I love the range of colours in it and the quality is outstanding! Many would think this is a palette for Fall or Winter because of the deep berry and orange hues, but I think this palette can be used all year round regardless of the season. So today I decided to show you a Spring makeup look I created using only this palette.

I suffer from very dry skin and in occasions dehydrated skin. Let me say that I hate this, I hate it because it is uncomfortable, itchy and, let's face it, makes me look much older than I truly am (yes, I'm 37 but 22 in my heart). I can't begin to tell you how many products, serums, oils and what not I have tried for this problem of mine, so you can trust me when I say I have experience in this domain. Hello, lovelies!! How are you today?! We're back from our family vacation in Paris, my boy is back to school, getting up on time this morning was super hard... To make this Monday less harsh I went for a little morning walk in the sun, and I might or might not have shopped a little bit... or a lot 😜 Anyway, you'll be able to see my shopping sprees and some pictures I took during our trip to Paris if you follow me on Instagram.

Hello lovelies!! How are you today?! We are still in a long weekend mood,, so this feels more like a "Second Sunday" rather than a Monday. It is already that time of the year when we start thinking about Easter (ok, WE start thinking, I know many of you have already everything planned out). Easter is one of my favorite celebration of the year so I couldn't miss the occasion to show you some Easter themed nail art.

Can you imagine my reaction when I found out today we needed to go NUDE for the Monday Shadow Challenge!
Today is a good example of what "challenges" are for. Having fun, yes, sharing with others what you like, yes, yes! But foremost, for putting you in the uncomfortable position of trying to do something you wouldn't normally do.
This may sound philosophical, but nothing makes us grow more, improve more, than being uncomfortable! Uncomfort is one of the most efficient motors to makes us change and improve.

Sometimes, I have the sensation that the hours of my day pass too quickly. I want to do so many things in 24 hours, and at the end of the day, I realize I only did a fraction of what I wanted. Does this happen to you? How do you feel about it?
