Hello, sweeties! Happy Monday!

I just came back from a wonderful weekend in Colmar, France (take a look at my Instagram Stories!), and I can't believe I've actually made it to post my "Monday Shadow Challenge" entry on a Monday! LOL. After a couple of week of enjoying myself quite a bit on weekends, it's been hard writing a blogpst on Monday. Because, you know, days are only 24 hours long, lol. Well, I had prepared my look in "Plum" and "Orange" in advance and here it is right on time! I hope you like it!!

The pumpkin season just started, I love pumpkins!! As food, as decoration and as a makeup colour too! Today's makeup challenge with the "Monday Shadow Challenge" proposes us to combine "Kaki green" and "Orange Pumpkin" colours in our looks, thich I find so appropriate for Fall. Keep reading to see the makeup look I came up with :)

Happy Monday, my lovelies!
This weekend my husband and I caught the flu (or something) and were feeling under the weather. I called off ALL our weekend plans because I was feeling extremely tired and weak. I did nothing, and I even nap on the couch a little. It was a while since I last took it that easy. I completely emptied my mind and thought "anything else can wait" and I decided to have a rest. It felt so good and it did me so well, although I still have a sore throat I'm feeling with much more energy today.

Honestly, I don't know when this started, but at a certain point we started ignoring our bodies and taking medicines and pain killers to be able to go on with our lives, daily chores, activities, even the "fun things" we plan. When did "the plan" take a purpose on itself? When things and "to do" lists overcame the wellbeing of a human being? I realise I am very privileged to be able to say "I'm sick, I will stop and take care of myself". Half of the world can't do that. Even more than that, unfortunately. Have you been stopping to take care of yourself when you are feeling bad? It is a real luxe, but it is also an obligation.

Now, to the fun part: MAKEUP!! Today's makeup challenge with the "Monday Shadow Challenge" takes us to the "Autumn colour" territory, as we must use both "Marsala" and "Magenta" colours in our looks. I love these warm tone wine reds and pinks on me, as they make my green eyes pop. I did a coloured smokey using my beloved "Modern Renaissance" palette. I hope you like it :)

Watery red eyes, itching throat and palate, running nose, constant sneezing, and now the headache! Are you allergic to pollen? how do you manage it? do you take medication?

Happy New Year, my lovelies!
I hope you all began this 2018 the best possible way, and that this year will bring you plenty of blessings.
I am super happy because my hubby and I finally decided to leave next weekend on an escapade without the children. We had planned this long ago and then called it off for several reasons, but today we finally decided it could work out and booked the tickets. In fact, on 5th January it will be 20 years (20 YEARS!!!! :O ) that we first met in Brighton. We haven't been back to England together since then, so we thought it would be nice to go back for the 20th anniversary of our first date. At the same time, is the first time we are leaving the children, they've actually never slept out of the house before, this stresses me a little, but I suppose it will be all right.
As you can see, I'm back to my regular schedule, and today is time for the "Monday Shadow Challenge"! The first of 2018, I'm not super happy with it, but you'll be the ones to judge! LOL. Today's look was supposed to be glamorous, using the colours "black glitter and red", but the final result is not quite what I had in mind. Well, you know, sometimes you win, sometimes... you don't.

As you know, I took a short break from blogging because of the Holidays, and my blogging schedule is totally unusual, as posting a "Monday Shadow Challenge" participation on a Thursday, LOL. Today's look is a dark one, done using the colours "tyrian purple and gold glitter". I know I don't usually go this dark for my looks, but then it wouldn't be a "challenge" right?? I hope you like it!

Hello, my beauties!
Ever since I came back from Strasbourg last Monday I've been sick as a dog. Yesterday I went to the doctor's and came home with a heavy load of pills and potions, LOL. Thanks to modern medicine my nose has recovered its breathing function and I could finally have a good night of sleep. I keep my fingers crossed to be healthy for Christmas Eve!! Speaking of which, don't you think is about time I showed you a Christmass look? I prepared a quite classic Christmas makeup look, done with the lovelies products I have received from Wetnwild, this is an easy, classic and glamorous look. I hope you like it!

I'm later than usual for posting my "Monday Shadow Challenge" participation. The reason being that we just came back for a short escapade to Strasbourg. It was so much fun! We stayed out most of the time visiting the city the Christmas Market, and eating and drinking with friends, so blogging was not really on my schedule, LOL. But I had my makeup look prepared for today, so here it is my "silver glitter and teal" look of the day. I hope you like it!

I quite like KIKO Milano as a brand because their prices are affordable and many of their products are of a fairly good quality. I have already shared with you some other products I bought from this brand here, but those were mostly from their permanent range. However, it seems that many brands don't put the same effort into producing their limited edition products. Seriously, some would just focus on the packaging and the marketing images while the actual products are just dudes.  So, I thought I would pick up some limited edition items to see how I liked them. Keep reading to find out what I think about these products I've picked!!

Hello Sweeties! How are you today?

Today my boy re-starts school after three weeks of "Autumn-break", so we are going back to normal schedules, at least until Christmas Holidays. That means I will get a little more time for blogging properly again. I don't know if you have noticed I haven't been answering comments or reading a lot of other blogs lately (hangs head in shame). I apologize and I will try to catch up with those comments soon!

As every Monday, I have a new makeup look to share with you using the colour chosen for Monday Shadow Challenge. This week we are dipping into Marsala!

Oh, yes, you've read right. This is part one of my makeup haul in Italy. I shopped for makeup during my summer vacation, and I shopped so much that I need two posts not to bore you to death! hahaha
