New │ OPI Neo-Pearl Collection Spring 2020
Apr 9, 2020
Hello, my sweeties! How are you today?
I am thrilled to announce the new Neo-pearl Collection by OPI* for Spring 2020 that will be launching at the end of April 2020! I've been trying all the colours and today I'm here to show you the swatches and share my opinion about the formulation with you!! This is a collection inspired by the delicacy and beauty of pearls, so it is super sophisticated and feminine. Keep reading to find out what each colour looks like on the nails and what was my experience applying and wearing six of the twelve new nail polishes. ♥♥♥
Nail Art │ Lavender and Rose Gold Nail Design
Mar 10, 2019
Hello, my lovelies!
How has been your weekend so far? It's Carnival here in Biel, so yesterday we went to the children's parade. My children wanted to get dressed as Tangled and Batman respectively, which they did, but it was sooooo cold, windy and rainy, we ended covering them with jackets, beanies and scarves so that their costumes were barely visible, LOL. We froze our damp butts out watching the parade and rushed home as soon as it finished because the rain got more and more intense and we didn't have an umbrella!! Yes, I know, for a South American, a carnival with this weather is not precisely something to write home about! But we had fun, in a certain way, and drinking a hot chocolate when we got home never seemed more rewarding. What about your weekend?
It's time for nail art! Today's manicure features two beautiful polishes from recent OPI Collections and it is very feminine. I hope you like it!
Nail art │ Plaid Pattern Manicure in Blue, Lavender and Gold
Nov 2, 2018
Hello, lovelies! Happy Friday!
Ihope you had a great week, mine was awesome but very busy. In fact, hubby was away for business trip, so I had a little more to do than usual, but to be honest, our kids behave much better when they know I'm alone! haha, they make it a point to help mommy while dad is away. I'm curious, do your kids do the same? I mean, are they more prone to help out when one of the parents is away?
Now, it's time for a new manicure! The "Nail Crazies Unite" nail art Challenge prompted us to create "Plaid" themed manicures, so I created this design using the new colours from the OPI holiday Collection 2018.
Makeup │ Cool Toned Colours for a Sophisticated Fall Look
Sep 29, 2018
Hello, lovelies! Happy Saturday!
How was your week? I spent a wonderful week myself! It is still so warm for this time of the year I can't believe September is already coming to an end!! That is seriously crazy! Since the children went back to school time has impressively accelerated. Do you have the same impression?
The month of September flew by, so it's time to share with you a new edition of my "shopping my stash" challenge. I've been playing with my Chanel Quadra Eyeshadow #262 Tissé Beverly Hills, which is a cool toned palette allowing for very sophisticated makeup looks!
Nail art │ Purple and Lilac Cupcakes Nail Design
Sep 22, 2018
Hello, lovelies! Happy weekend!
This week for the "Nail Crazies Unite" nail art Challenge we ought to create a manicure related to "Food or drink".
If you've been following on Instagram you might know this week I've been travelling, I went to Paris! It was awesome, I could have a glimpse of some new skincare launches for this Fall and I will be reporting it all to you very soon. That being said, my Parisian adventure left me with very little time to play with my nail colours. I wore a beautiful purple nail polish during my trip to pair with my blue dress, I found the colour so perfect that I didn't feel like doing many different coloured designs on top, so I decided to decorate it with only one colour stamping. Which also had the advantage to be super quick. I chose to represent FOOD, because I'm a foodie, and among all foods I chose cupcakes, because truly there isn't much cuter food than cupcakes! Is there? I hope you'll like it!
Petal Pink & Soft Lilac Look for the Sign of Virgo [Zodiac Makeup Challenge]
Sep 12, 2018
Happy humpday, sweeties!
It's time for a new Zodiac inspired makeup. As you know, I'm showing more love to the makeup I own instead of buying new items and I challenged myself to create twelve different looks with the BHCosmetics Zodiac palette, one for each sign. Today, I created a Virgo look for the "Zodiac challenge"
The palette has two beautiful and quite pale colours for "Virgo" zodiac sign and those inspired me to create a very pale but luminous look in petal pink and lilac. I supposed these are not your typical "Autumn colours", but let's not forget that Spring is coming to the southern hemisphere.
Also in my home country, Argentina, Spring begins the 21st of September and I think this makeup would be perfect for that occasion. I hope you like it!

Makeup │Chestnut & Lilac for an Intriguing and Unusual Combo [Monday Shadow Challenge]
May 14, 2018
(Défilez vers le bas pour le Français)
Happy Monday, lovelies!
Yesterday was Mother's day in many countries and also in Switzerland! We celebrated it discreetly with a brunch I prepared, but I must say I was spoilt rotten by my kids and hubby, I got so many presents! (If you are curious you can check them on my Instagram!). Other than that, it was a gloomy weekend so we spent most of it resting, watching tv and playing game boards. When is Mother's day in your country? How do you celebrate it?
As every Monday, I have a new makeup look to share with you for the Monday Shadow Challenge! Today, the colours are a rather unusual combination, "chestnut & lilac". It seemed a bit complicated at first to ut these two shades together in one look, but once it was done I found it quite cool. Keep reading to find out!
Makeup │Romantic look in lilac and fucsia [Monday Shadow Challenge]
Jan 16, 2018
Hello, my lovelies! how are you today?
It's been almost two weeks since I last published here, I took a break, half of it was wanted and half of it unwanted. As I told you, my hubby, and I took a weekend escapade to Brighton, where we first met 20 years ago, when we came back I intended to do a lot of improvements for our home, but then I caught a nasty flu, and I had a fever that lasted me for 5 days despite the medicines, which absolutely knocked me out. Now, it is my girl who has it, but luckily she seems to have caught a softer kind of virus, thank God.
I ended up skipping last week's Monday Shadow Challenge because the colours didn't inspire me that much. This week, I'm "only" one day late posting my look, not that bad considering the background. Today's look is supposed to be romantic, but not too soft, I was thinking about something that would be suitable for a night out, like Valentine's day. The colours used this week are "purple and fucsia", I hope you like the outcome.

Hello, sweeties! How are you?
I can't begin to tell you how hard was getting back to the regular routine this morning after 4 wonderful long-weekend days spent in Italy. As I write my girl is yelling (instead of napping) because I am actually doing something else than being with her, great... so easy to explain to a two-year-old that mommy would like to write a blog post and why that's "important" right? Well, it is not, of course, or is it?
I came back home from this short vacation with a broken toe. It happened on Saturday morning and I know it's actually broken (even if I haven't been yet able to get myself to the hospital for a check), I know so because my foot is swollen, my toe and the surrounding area is blue slightly turning to black, and I would rather crush my face on the floor than walking -as it is so painful. But I've been trying hard to smile and go on with the vacation as planned. Family life doesn't seem to allow me any moment to take care of my injured foot until tomorrow.
Anyways, I had prepared a makeup look for today long ago and I wanted to share it with you, just because I really need a lift up and blogging about makeup does it for me. This time the challenge is to combine Pastel yellow and lilac for the Monday Shadow Challenge. I hope you like it!

Happy Friday my lovelies! Ready for the weekend?
I am in love with this purple shade from OPI "I lost my bikini in Molokini" and today I'd like to show you a mani I did with this color using nail water decals with flower pattern from Born pretty store. I thought it was so appropriate for Spring (which, by the way, I can't wait for it to start).

Jan 31, 2014

Welcome to the fourth appointment in the "Winter Garden" challenge organized by the lovely Francine from The Beauty case blog. Today's prompt is "giardino d'inverno" and has been proposed by Sara, so I went with a pretty matte butterfly design.
